IISER Entrance Exam Application Form 2025
IISER Exam 2025 Registration portal is open for admissions to the five year BS-MS dual degree, four year BS and BTech degree offered at IISERs, IIT Madras and IISc Bangalore institutes. Before applying for the online registration process, it is advised for the interested candidates to go through the eligibility criteria carefully in order to not lose its candidature at the last. Interested candidates can fill the online application form till April 15, 2025. Candidates seeking admission to IISER 2025 entrance exam must appear for a computer-based IISER Aptitude Test (IAT-2025). IAT-2025 will be conducted on May 25, 2025 at 9:00 AM, at various centres across the country.
IISER 2024 Application Form: Documents Required
Here is the list of candidates required while filling out the IAT 2025 application form:
- Class X certificate
- Class XII (or equivalent examination).
- If the class XII (or equivalent) marks sheet is not available now, then you can instead upload a signed declaration form - “DECLARATION BY THE CANDIDATE IN LIEU OF ELIGIBILITY EXAM CERTIFICATE/
MARKSHEET”. Fill in the form, sign it, scan it and then upload. The scanned copies of the actual marks sheet must be uploaded on or before July 2, 2025, failing which you will not be allotted a seat in any of the IISERs. - Candidate's Photograph
- Candidate's Signature
- ID proof with photo (Aadhar card, driving license etc.)

IISER Entrance Exam 2025: Photograph Upload Dimensions
The photograph must match with your appearance on the day of the examination in the following dimensions:

| Colour of the Image | photograph must be recent and must be in COLOUR. Photographs of poor resolution taken using a mobile phone and other self-composed portraits may result in the rejection of the application. |

| Maximum and Minimum Pixel | The file size of the image should be in the range of 10 kB to 200 kB. |
| Background | Background of the photograph must be white or a very light colour.

Note: The Candidate has to upload only his/her own photograph and signature as mentioned above (and not of anybody else) in a correct/proper manner.

Given below is a list of documents/certificates whose scanned copies are to be uploaded at the time of online application for IAT 2025. The formats of the certificates are given in the Annexure.

The expected application fee for IISER Entrance Exam 2025 of various categories is as follow:
1. INR 2,000/- for candidates applying under General, EWS, and OBC-NCL categories.
2. INR 1,000/- for candidates applying under persons with disabilities, persons registered as Kashmir migrants and SC/ST category.
3. INR 8,500/- for foreign nationals. Candidates must note that the application fee is non-refundable.
