JEE Main Cut Off 2025: The exam body NTA, conducts the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main which is the top engineering entrance exam in India. It also ranks among the toughest entrance exams in the world. The JEE Main is conducted twice a year, January and April.

What is the JEE Main Cut Off?
Cut off or qualifying percentile is a minimum mark which candidates must score in JEE Main to qualify for JEE Advanced (for IIT placements), or be considered for JoSAA/CSAB counselling for admissions into NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. It is prescribed by NTA and is not a final admission cut-off as individual colleges or branches have different cut off which varies by institute and seat category.

Based on the above cut off trends of JEE Main, it can be understood that general category cut-off steadily increased from 88 (2022) to 93 (2024-25). This shows rising competition and performance. The JEE Main cut off of candidates belonging to reserved categories such as (EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST) also shows consistent upward trend, especially in recent years. PwD cut-offs remain extremely low (reservation-linked) but are not indicative of competitive ranking.
