JEE Main July 27 Shift 2 Paper Analysis
As per initial reaction from students who appeared in the exam, paper was of moderate in difficulty level. Mathematics was the toughest among all three sections while Chemistry was NCERT based.
Physics- The Physics sections was well balanced. Questions in JEE Main 2021 July 27 shift 2 were asked from Fluids, EMF, Alternating Currents, Semiconductors and Electrostatics topics.
Chemistry- Students found chemistry section easy to moderate. All the questions asked in chemistry section were from NCERT. Some questions were asked from Metallurgy, Coordination compounds, Polymers, Biomolecules topics.
Mathematics- Most students found Mathematics section tough and lengthy. Questions were asked from Reasoning, Statistics, Coordinate Geometry and Trigonometry.

JEE Main July 27 Shift 1 Students' Reaction
Candidates can check the 27 July 2021 shift-1 students' Reactions below:
Mudit: Overall paper was of moderate level. Mathematics was lengthy but was not very tough. Chemistry and Physics were of moderate level. Physics had questions from Semiconductors and Communication while Chemistry had a balanced number of questions from Inorganic, Organic and Physical.
Vicky: The paper was easy to medium in difficulty level. However, Maths was lengthy and tough. The physics section had questions from Semiconductor. Chemistry had more questions from Organic and less from Physics. For students who are going to attempt the exam, revise NCERT for Chemistry. The maths and Physics section is lengthy so time has to be managed well.
Vijay: The paper was easy to moderate. Compared to Physics and Chemistry, Maths was hard. All of the questions were balanced and most of them were from NCERT.
Aditya: The paper was of moderate level. However, Maths was tough and lengthy. Physics and Chemistry were easy. All of the questions in the sections were well balanced.
Divansh: As compared to the February session, this paper was quite tough. Physics was quite complicated and tricky and Chemistry was of moderate level. Mathematics was very lengthy and tough.
JEE Main July 27 Shift 1 Paper Analysis
As per the initial reaction from candidates who appeared in the shift 1 paper, the overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate to difficult. Most students found Mathematics to be the toughest of all three sections with lengthy calculations. The physics section was moderate in difficulty level while Chemistry was the easiest.
- Physics- Questions from semiconductors and communication were asked. Questions in the section were formula-based.
- Chemistry- Questions from polymer, biomolecules, chemistry in everyday life were asked one from each chapter. The weightage of organic chemistry was less in today's JEE Main paper for shift 1.
- Mathematics- Maths was difficult. Questions were asked from Parabola, Hyperbola, Statistics, Curves, among others.

July 27, 09:00 AM: JEE Main July 27 shift 1 paper has commenced.
July 27, 08:45 AM: No candidate will be allowed now to enter the exam centre. Gates closed as the exam about to begin shortly.
July 27, 08:30 AM: Gates of the exam centre has been closed. Candidates who are coming late are however still allowed to enter the exam centre.
July 27, 08:00 AM: Entry inside the exam centre has started. Candidates are provided face mask while entering the exam centre. Frisking is being done with hand held metal detectors.
July 27, 07:30 AM: Candidates have come outside JEE Main exam centre. The security guards are informing students to maitain social distancing and to not gather in crowd.
