MAH MBA CET 2026 exam will be held in April and May 2026. The exam dates have been announced. Registration process has started. The score will be accepted by over 300 MBA colleges across Maharashtra. Read here all about MAH MBA CET 2026 exam and application form.

MAH MBA CET 2026 exam will be conducted by Maharashtra State CET Cell for admission to MBA/MMS programmes offered by state colleges and institutes on April 6, 7 and 8 and May 9, 2026. MAH MBA CET 2026 – Maharashtra State CET Cell has extended the last date to fill MAH MBA CET application form to February 25. Earlier, the last date was extended to February 20, from the initial set deadline of February 12. The CET Cell conducts a common entrance exam for MBA/MMS courses in state affiliated colleges and institution. Candidates can apply for one or two attempts in the same form. Fee will have to be paid per attempt. MAH MBA CET 2026 exam will be held on April 6, 7 and 8, 2026. For the 2026 session, a second MAH CET will be conducted on May 9, 2026. Candidates can choose to make one or both attempts. For those who take both attempts, best of the two scores will be considered for CAP admission.

Candidates who are Maharashtra domicile, can appear for the exam in MH category. Candidates from rest of India can appear for the exam in All India category. Q: Can I select test city outside Maharashtra for MBA CET?

Yes, candidates applying under All India category can select test cities outside Maharashtra. However, the exam is held in a very limited number of cities outside Maharashtra. Candidates can select from thr following cities only:

Q: I am in final year of graduation. Can I apply for MAH MBA CET?

Yes, you can apply for MAH MBA CET. However, you're aggregate of first and second year of bachelor's degree course should meet the minimum criteria (50 percent for Unreserved category and 45 percent for reserved category). You will also have to submit the final year passing certificate or marksheet to the university in which you finally take admission by October. Until then, your admission will be provisional.

Q: What is the MBA CET CAP eligibility criteria?

In the MAH CET CAP, there are three categories in which the seat allotment is done: 1. Maharashtra State Candidature, 2. All India Candidature/Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidate and 3. NRI/OCI/PIO Foreign National, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries. Given below are the category wise MAH CET CAP eligibility criteria. Maharashtra State Candidature: The candidate should be an Indian National and must have passed Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate from a recognised university (at least 45 per cent in case of candidates belonging to backward class categories and PwD belonging to Maharashtra State only). The candidate must have obtained more than zero score in MAH CET exam. All India Candidature/Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidate: The candidate should be an Indian National and must have passed 3-year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate from a recognised university. They must have also scored more than zero score in MAH CET/XAT/MAT/ATMA/GMAT/CAT/CMAT. NRI/OCI/PIO Foreign National, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries: The candidate should have passed minimum three-year duration Bachelor's Degree with 50 per cent marks or equivalent, awarded by the University recognized by the UGC or AIU. Any other criterion declared from time to time by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra as defined under the ACT.

MAH CET Eligibility Criteria for MBA/MMS

MBA CET is a post graduate level exam, thus the minimum academic criteria is graduation. Check below detailed MAH CET eligibility criteria 2026:

Candidate must have completed graduation from a recognized university.
Minimum marks required in graduation is 50 per cent in aggregate (45 per cent in case of reserved category candidates).
Final year students awaiting their result are also eligible to appear in CET
Candidates having CAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA score can apply for MAH MBA CET counselling or MBA CAP.

Q: Is MAH CET MBA score acceptable for admission outside Maharashtra?

MAH CET exam for MBA/MMS admission is a state level entrance test for candidates belonging to Maharashtra State. Since, the exam is conducted by the state government body its score is accepted by colleges and institutions affiliated to state universities only. Thus, one cannot apply for admission with MAH CET score outside Maharashtra.

Q: I did not appear for MAH MBA CET. How can I participate in CAP round?

If you did not appear for MAH MBA CET, you can participate in the CAP round for admission to an MBA college in Maharashtra with CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA/GMAT score under All India category. Such candidates should have scored more than 0 marks in any of these national level MBA entrance exam.

Q: What is the eligibility criteria for MAH CET 2026?

MAH MBA CET Registration Process 2026

The process to apply for MAH MBA CET 2026 is online. Application form is available through login. Candidates have to mention the number of attempts in the form and pay fee per attempt. Given below is the process of MAH CET registration and application form submission.

Enter personal details and a password
Click on save and proceed
Verify through Aadhaar and APAAR IDs
Log in with application number generated and password
Enter personal details, domicile and category
Upload required documents for domicile/category
Upload passport size photo and scanned signature
Enter test city preference
Pay application fee of INR 1,500 (INR 1,300 for Reserved category)

For 2 attempts the fee amount to be paid is INR 3000 (General categoey) or INR 2600 (Reseved category). Candidates can choose 4 test cities for allotment of exam centre, in the MBA CET application form 2026. The exam is conducted in about 40 cities in Maharashtra and 12 in rest of India.
