MAH MBA CET 2026 was conducted in two sessions. First session exam was held on April 6, 7 and 8, 2026. Four slots were easy and the fifth slot was moderate. However, due to lengthy Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude, the question papers were time consuming. Second attempt was held on May 9 in two slots. MAH MBA CET 2026 question papers of the second attempt was also easy.

MAH MBA CET 2026 first attempt result has been released today. Candidates who appeared for first session can check their scores now by logging into their CET account. MAH MBA CET 2026 result of second attempt will follow soon.

The examination body released provisional answer key of MAH MBA CET 2026 first attempt on May 2 and the final answer key on May 13. The provisional answer key of MAH CET second attempt 2026 was released on May 19 and the final answer key was released on May 29.

Candidates who are Maharashtra domicile, can appear for the exam in MH category. Candidates from rest of India can appear for the exam in All India category. MBA CET counselling process will be held 2 months after result declaration. The Centralised Admission Process or CAP, it will be conducted in online and offline modes. The MAH CET CAP process will include the following stages:

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra uploaded round wise and category wise MAH MBA CET cut offs 2025 on its official website during the CAP process (July to September 2025). You can check MAH CET 2025 cut off on this page (https://www.shiksha.com/mba/mah-cet-exam-cutoff) for CAP Round 1, 2, 3 and 4. You can also check the cut offs of previous years on this page.

MAH CET cut offs refer to the percentile on the basis of which seats are allotted to candidates during the counselling process. Candidates do not have to meet any sectional cut off to be eligible for admission into a particular MBA college. MAH CET cut offs will be declared for four rounds. The MAH CET cut off percentiles will be released category wise. 

Q:   Is MAH CET counselling conducted offline?
A: 

MAH CET counselling is conducted partly in offline and partly online mode. CAP registration is done online at the Maharashtra State CET Cell website, whereas document verification is done offline at the designated centres. Merit list is released online and submission of grievances is done online. Final acceptance of seat and admission formalities are done offline at the college office.

Q:   What is the minimum marks to appear in MAH CET counselling?
A: 

There is no minimum marks required to appear in MAH CET counselling. Candidate with more than 0 in MAH CET or other entrance exams can register for CAP. However, selection will be based on minimum cut offs for the participating colleges.

Q:   Are MAH MBA CET cut offs announced along with result?
A: 

MAH MBA CET cut offs are not announced along with result. They are announced during the Centralised Admission Process which is held 1 or 1.5 months after the result announcement.

MAH MBA CET admit card 2026 has been issued to registered candidates in online mode. Candidates are required to download their MAH MBA CET admit card by using their login credentials. Check the process below:

Q:   Will I have to fill a new application form and pay the fee at the time of MAH MBA CET counselling?
A: 

Candidates will have to fill the MAH MBA CET counselling registration form which is different from the exam application form. The counselling form will be available at the examination portal as per the schedule for that year. Those applying through MAH CET score will have to only fill the registration form and not pay any fee. Those applying through other MBA entrance exam score will have to pay registration fee of INR 1200 (For Reserved category INR 1000).

Q:   What after MAH MBA CET result?
A: 

After the MAH MBA CET result announcement the State CET will conduct common counselling for admission to about 300 colleges in Maharashtra, most likely in July-August. Qualifying candidates will be required to participate in MAH CET counselling for admission to participating MBA colleges in Maharashtra by filling the online counselling form. The MAH MBA CET counselling process will be conducted in two or three rounds and will be based on cut offs. Candidates will be allotted seat in the college of their choice, if they meet the minimum cut off percentile of that college.

The counselling will be held for mainly two categories – Maharashtra State candidates and All India candidates. Separate merit lists will be released for these two categories. To be eligible for MAH CET counselling candidates need to score more than 0 in MBA CET exam.

Q:   How to calculate Probable Score in MAH CET?
A: 

The MAH MBA CET answer key carries correct answers and candidate's response to all questions. Candidates can calculate probable score by adding one mark to every correct answer given by you and adding zero for every incorrect option selected by you. The sum total will be your probable score.

MAH CET Eligibility Criteria for MBA/MMS

MBA CET is a post graduate level exam, thus the minimum academic criteria is graduation. Check below detailed MAH CET eligibility criteria 2026:

  • Candidate must have completed graduation from a recognized university.
  • Minimum marks required in graduation is 50 per cent in aggregate (45 per cent in case of reserved category candidates).
  • Final year students awaiting their result are also eligible to appear in CET
  • Candidates having CAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA score can apply for MAH MBA CET counselling or MBA CAP.

Yes, MAH MBA CET counselling is cut off-based which is held after the result announcement. MAH CET counselling is conducted round-wise. In this process, candidates have to register online, participate in online counselling and confirm admission by submission of documents and final admission by making fee payment. After that, the admission cell, prepares cut offs and seat allotment lists category wise for MBA/MS admission. Candidates from outside Maharashtra state are also eligible for MAH CET CAP under the All India Seats category. The registration, exam and counselling processes for All India Seats category students are same as that of Maharashtra State category candidates.

MAH MBA CET Registration Process 2026

The process to apply for MAH MBA CET 2026 is online. Candidates have to mention the number of attempts in the form and pay fee per attempt. Given below is the process of MAH CET registration and application form submission.

  • Open the Maharashtra State CET Cell website: https://cetcell.mahacet.org/
  • Click on CET examination portal AY 2026-2027
  • Click on ‘Register’ tab
  • Enter personal details and a password
  • Click on save and proceed
  • Verify through Aadhaar and APAAR IDs
  • Log in with application number generated and password
  • Enter personal details, domicile and category
  • Upload required documents for domicile/category
  • Upload passport size photo and scanned signature
  • Enter test city preference
  • Pay application fee of INR 1,500 (INR 1,300 for Reserved category) 

For 2 attempts the fee amount to be paid is INR 3000 (General categoey) or INR 2600 (Reseved category). An additional amount of INR 500 is to be paid for seond attempt during re-opening window. Candidates can choose 4 test cities for allotment of exam centre, in the MBA CET application form 2026. No, the MAH CET application form and MAH CET Counselling form are different and candidates have to fill them separately. The MAH CET application form is valid for the entrance test only and the MAH CET counseling application form has to be filled by only those candidates who qualify the entrance test and wish to participate in the seat allotment process. The MAH MBA CET counseling registration form is released about 2 months after the entrance test result announcement. The candidates will have to fill the counseling form at the MAHA CET counseling portal.

Those who shall have filled the MAH CET MBA/MMS application form and appeared for the exam, will not have to pay the registration fee at the time of CAP. However, those who will be participating in MAH CET CAP through CAT/CMAT/MAT/ATMA/GMAT score will have to pay the registration fee of Rs 1000 (Rs 800 for registered category candidates).

Yes, candidates can raise objection against official MAH MBA CET answer key by filling an online form available in student dashboard. Option to raise objection will be available for only 2-3 days. There is no fee to be submitted for raising objection but candidates will have to upload supporting document in favour of their claim.

No, you cannot show MAH CET city intimation slip at the test centre for entry. Candidates will be allowed to appear for the test only if they present the hard copy of the admit card and photo ID.

The MAH MBA CET cutoff is calculated based on your percentile score, not raw marks. Your raw score is normalized across exam sessions to account for difficulty variations, then converted into a percentile that shows how you rank among all test-takers. MAH BBA CET score is the total marks awarded to the candidate out of 100. It is calculated based on every correct attempt. MAH BBA CET percentile is calculated from rank as compared to rest candidates.

After MAH CET result announcement, the CET CELL conducts Centralized Admission Process or CAP. In this process qualifying candidates are allotted MBA/MMS college basis their preference and score.

MAH MBA CET 2026 score will be valid for one year only, i. e. it can be used for admission to the 2026 academic session only. If a candidate plans to drop admission this year, they will have to appear for the exam again next year.
