MAH MBA CET 2026
MAH MBA CET 2026 exam was held on April 6, 7 and 8, 2026. The April session exams were overall easy. However, due to lengthy Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude, the question papers were time consuming. The second session of MHT MBA CET will be conducted on May 9. Candidates who had registered for second session too, can make a second attempt to improve their score. For those who take both attempts, best of the two scores will be considered for CAP admission. MAH MBA CET 2026 answer key is expected to be released for both attempts separately, but the result will be released togetther.
Candidates who are Maharashtra domicile, can appear for the exam in MH category. Candidates from rest of India can appear for the exam in All India category. MAH CET question paper for MBA/MMS was easy but lengthy on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3, the questions were slightly tougher but very much doable. Check below an overall observation of the exam across all test slots.

MAH MBA CET Counselling 2026
MBA CET counselling process will be held 2 months after result declaration. The Centralised Admission Process or CAP, it will be conducted in online and offline modes. The MAH CET CAP process will include the following stages:
- Online registration for MBA CAP 2026
- Release of merit list for MH and All India categories
- Round wise MAH MBA CET 2026 cut off release and seat allotment
- Acceptance of seat by candidates, online
- Completion of admission formalities by candidates

MAH MBA CET admit card 2026 has been issued to registered candidates in online mode. Candidates are required to download their MAH MBA CET admit card by using their login credentials. Check the process below:

MAH CET Eligibility Criteria for MBA/MMS
MBA CET is a post graduate level exam, thus the minimum academic criteria is graduation. Check below detailed MAH CET eligibility criteria 2026:
- Candidate must have completed graduation from a recognized university.
- Minimum marks required in graduation is 50 per cent in aggregate (45 per cent in case of reserved category candidates).
- Final year students awaiting their result are also eligible to appear in CET
- Candidates having CAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA score can apply for MAH MBA CET counselling or MBA CAP.

MAH MBA CET Registration Process 2026
The process to apply for MAH MBA CET 2026 was online. Candidates had to mention the number of attempts in the form and pay fee per attempt. Given below is the process of MAH CET registration and application form submission.
- Open the Maharashtra State CET Cell website: https://cetcell.mahacet.org/
- Click on CET examination portal AY 2026-2027
- Click on ‘Register’ tab
- Enter personal details and a password
- Click on save and proceed
- Verify through Aadhaar and APAAR IDs
- Log in with application number generated and password
- Enter personal details, domicile and category
- Upload required documents for domicile/category
- Upload passport size photo and scanned signature
- Enter test city preference
- Pay application fee of INR 1,500 (INR 1,300 for Reserved category)
For 2 attempts the fee amount to be paid was INR 3000 (General categoey) or INR 2600 (Reseved category). Candidates could choose 4 test cities for allotment of exam centre, in the MBA CET application form 2026. The exam will be conducted in about 40 cities in Maharashtra and 12 in rest of India. Candidates have to study four subjects as part of MAH MBA CET syllabus - Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension. Given below are some of the important topics included in these four sections of MAH CET.

The MAH MBA CET Quantitative Aptitude is a moderately difficult section. The topics from which the questions are asked include Geometry, Trigonometry, Algebra, Mensuration, Partnership (Accounts), Profit and Loss, Mean, mode, median, Ratio and Proportion, In-Equations, Quadratic and Linear equations, Surds and Indices, Time-Speed-Distance, Number System, Geometric Progression, Binomial theorem, Inequalities, Work and Time, Percentage, Logarithms, Square Root and Cube Root, Probability and Simple Interest and Compound Interest.
This section also contains topics from data interpretation and data sufficiency. Normally, there are two sets of data interpretation questions based on a graph, table or pie chart. Most of the questions however are from Quantitative Aptitude, specifically Arithmetic. Aspirants must dedicate about 2-3 months to this section for complete preparation. They need to be thorough with all the concepts and have enough practice of various types of questions.

Yes, skipping questions is allowed in MAH CET. If you skip a question you will be marked 0 for it. However, it is advised to not skip too many questions as it may affect the overall score.

There is no negative marking in MAH MBA CET. If you skip any question in any of the sections of the exam, no marks will be deducted. You will be marked zero. However, candidates must not skip too many questions in Verbal Ability or any section of MAH CET as low sectional score will affect the overall score and percentile.
