SNAP 2026 Application Dates
SNAP Registration 2026 process will be online. For SNAP exam registration, candidates will have to register at SNAP Test website and fill the form. Details such as name, category, date of birth, address, academic score, SNAP test city preference, number of exam sessions and SIU courses will have to be mentioned in the SNAP application form. Registration fee payment will be a mandatory step to complete the process.

SNAP cut off is not released along with SNAP result. The SNAP accepting colleges release the admission cut offs for PI shortlisting about 15-20 days after result announcement. The SNAP cut offs of every institute is different and determined independently by their admission panel. The SNAP cut offs are usually out by February first week, every year.
Yes, you can appear for SNAP 2026. There is no cap on number of attempts in SNAP. One can appear for the exam, any number of times until they get their desired score. However, it is very important to prepare well for SNAP. Only then one can improve score in the subsequent attempt. One should note down their shortcomings in the first attempt and work on them so that they can make up in the second attempt.
Between SNAP and NMAT, the former is considered easier in terms of difficulty level of the questions. However, SNAP is of 60 minutes in which candidates have to address 60 question. This makes SNAP more challenging than NMAT which is a test of longer duration (2 hours having 108 questions).
SNAP Admit Card 2026 Dates
SNAP Admit Card 2026 for each session will be released on different dates. Candidates will have to download their hall tickets according to the exam session they have registered for. The SNAP 2026 admit card will be required on the exam day for candidate identification. The hall ticket may be required during admission as well. Thus, candidates are advised to preserve the SNAP 2026 admit card until the admission process is completed.

There is no passing mark in SNAP. Candidates scoring more than 0 in the exam are eligible for WAT-PI round of SIU institutes. However, shortlisting of candidates are based on SNAP cut offs, which are between 50 to 99 percentile across the 16 SIU institutes. For example, SIBM Pune cut off for PI shortlisting in 98+ percentile, while SSSS Pune cut off is 55 percentile.
Minimum academic score required in graduation for MBA admission through SNAP is 50% for General category students and 45 % for SC/ST/PwD category students. It is a mandatory criterion so if you do not have this much score, you will not be selected for admission even if you meet SNAP cut off.
To effectively prepare for SNAP exam about 6 months are required. Candidates can start early too, but not later than when six months are left for the SNAP exam date. 6 months will give candidates to cover all the topics of SNAP syllabus and practice mock tests.
SNAP 2026 Exam Dates
Three sessions of SNAP 2026 exam will be held a week apart. Candidates can select SNAP 2026 exam date in the application form. They can appear for 1, 2 or 3 sessions. Best of all the attempts by the candidate will be accepted for admission. The SNAP 2026 exam will be of 60 minutes without break. The questions will be in MCQ format. Marking scheme will be fairly simple: 1 mark for correct attempt and -0.25 mark for incorrect attempt.

SNAP mock test is an important part of exam preparation but they should know when to start practicing it. The candidates should start solving mock tests only after completing the SNAP syllabus. October-November is the ideal month to start solving mock tests for SNAP exam preparation as the exam is conducted in December. You cannot apply for change of test city. You will have to appear for SNAP exam in the city as allotted to you. The test centre is allotted on first come first serve basis, which is why it is very critical to submit the SNAP application form at the earliest.
