AP EAMCET application form 2026 was released on February 4. The application form was available on the official website up to April 10, 2026. The application form had to be filled online. Candidates had to pay the application fee to submit the form before the last date. Steps to fill the application form were registration, form filling and fee payment. 

For Engineering and Pharmacy
Students must be at least 16 years of age as of December 31 of the year of admission. There is no specific upper age limit for candidates applying to AP EAMCET.

For Agriculture and Medical courses
Students must be at least 17 years of age as of December 31 of the year of admission, there is an upper age limit. For general category candidates, upper age limit is 22 years, and for SC/ST candidates, it is 25 years.

The MPC (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) stream and the BiPC (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) stream on different dates. AP EAMCET 2026 Engineering Exam was conducted on May 12, 13, 14, 15 and 18, 2026. The AP EAMCET Agriculture and Pharmacy exam was on May 19 and 20, 2026.

The number of months candidates must prepare for AP EAMCET depends on learning style and background knowledge of  student. More than 6 months of preparation are required to understand all topics thoroughly. For majority of students, four to six months is usually considered enough. Andhra Pradesh EAPCET stands for Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test.  AP EAP CET was previously known as Andhra Pradesh EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test). AP EAMCET is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).  AP EAMCET is conducted for admission into various professional courses offered in Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a computer-based test (CBT) for admission into first year of professional courses. AP EAMCET exam is conducted annually.  AP EAMCET syllabus is based on curriculum of Class 11 and Class 12.

AP EAMCET 2026 counselling registration can be done from July 2026. The exam date for the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET 2026 exam is in May 2026. Answer key is generally released few days after completion of exam.

The eligibility for Andhra Pradesh EAMCET will not be changed. The eligibility criteria are released on the official website. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying. 

Electronic gadgets such as phones, smartwatches, calculators, Bluetooth devices, and earphones are not allowed in the exam hall. If the candidates violate this, it can cause disqualification 

Yes, there are specific subject requirements for eligibility to apply for AP EAMCET

For Engineering (B.E./B.Tech)

Candidates who appeared for Class 12 or an equivalent exam, with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as the main subjects.
Candidates appearing in the Diploma exam recognised by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh or Telangana.

For Agriculture and Pharmacy courses 
Candidates must have appeared in the Class 12 exam or equivalent, with  Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as the main subjects.

There is a minimum education requirement for AP EAMCET 2026.  Candidates must have completed Class 12 or equivalent. A Diploma in engineering is also considered for engineering admission through AP EAMCET 2026.

Candidates from Telangana or any other state can also apply for AP EAMCET, but admission for these candidates is given based on non-local quota rules. 15% of seat allotment in private colleges is allocated for non-local candidates.

The last date of AP EAPCET 2026 application fee payment was April 10, 2026.

Candidates can check their registered email id or mobile number for EAMCET registration number. You can also get them online. For that you have to go Andhra EAMCET official website. Then try to login and click on forgot registration number. You have to provide the required information and registration will display.

It is not necessary to send a hard copy of the AP EAMCET 2026 application form to the concerned authority. The candidates must submit the form only online. It is better to keep a printed copy of the completed application form for the reference of the candidates. 

Candidates have to carry a valid photo ID proof like an Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving license, etc., along with their Andhra Pradesh EAMCET admit card to exam centre. It is mandatory to take admit card to exam centre. Candidates will not be permitted inside exam centre without admit card and a valid ID proof. AP EAMCET will be conducted in 3 languages: English, Telugu, and Urdu. The candidates who want to take the exam in Urdu can only appear for the exam at Kurnool at the specified exam centres. The question paper will be in Telugu and English in all the other centres. 

No, there is no negative marking in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET exam. For every correct answer one mark is given. There is no marks reduced for incorrect responses or unanswered questions. This applies to both engineering and agriculture streams of exam.

Each question carries 1 mark, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

AP EAMCET exam consists of multiple choice questions. Each of the MCQs will have four options. Candidates must choose correct answer from four options. 

• Every question from all sections carries one mark, and for each correct option, candidates will get 1 mark

• There is no negative marking scheme, i.e. 0 marks will be deducted for incorrect answers

• Also, no marks are allotted or reduced in case of no attempts (leaving questions)
