Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET), now officially known as AP EAPCET, is a state-level entrance exam for admission to undergraduate professional courses. The exam is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). It serves as the primary route for securing seats in government, private aided, and unaided professional colleges across Andhra Pradesh.

Additionally, engineering candidates are ranked based on a normalized merit score system, allowing them to participate in decentralized state counseling for seat allocation in university domains.

APSCHE is conducting AP EAMCET 2026 web counseling from July 20, 2026 onwards. The counseling process consists of the following steps:

• Applicants log into the official state portal (eapcet-sche.aptonline.in), pay the processing fee, and complete their profile registration.

• Eligible candidates exercise "Web Options" to select and lock their preferred combination of branches and colleges.

• The administrative software assigns automated seats based on the state rank list, local/non-local structural parameters, and locked options. 

• Complete online reporting: This includes:

  • Payment of structural tuition fees through online payment Gateways.

  • Submitting willingness configurations via Freezing pathways.

  • Online/Offline certificate verification at designated Helpline Centers.

  • Downloading allotment letters and self-reporting to final designated campus locations. 

AP EAPCET (EAMCET) 2026 Participating Colleges

The constituent and affiliated engineering, agriculture and medical colleges of the following universities offer admission to undergraduate courses through AP EAMCET 2026: 

JNTU Kakinada has declared the AP EAMCET results online on the unified portal. The AP EAMCET 2026 scorecard/rank card contains the candidate's normalized performance marks in individual subjects alongside their aggregate evaluation rank. Subject-wise qualification limits are detailed alongside the final roll parameters. 

How to Check AP EAMCET 2026 Result?

• Open the official portal - cets.apsche.ap.gov.in

• Click on the active AP EAPCET 2026 Result / Rank Card tab

• Login using your registration number, hall ticket number, and date of birth

• The structural scorecard will be displayed on the screen

• Download the rank card and take a hardcopy printout for verification

The cut off is released by APSCHE for all categories after the results are declared. The qualifying percentage will be 25% of maximum marks considered for ranking. However, for candidates belonging to the SC/ST, there is no minimum qualifying mark. AP EAMCET 2026 cutoff is calculated based on difficulty of exam, availability of seats , number of candidates participating, and cutoff trends in previous years.

There are two types of AP EAMCET 2026 cutoff:

• Qualifying cutoff marks: Engineering candidates must secure a minimum of 25% marks (40 out of 160) to obtain a rank, whereas no minimum mark baseline is mandated for SC/ST categories. 

• Admission cutoffs: The opening and closing ranks utilized by participating state institutions to terminate seat allotment during distinct verification counseling stages.

(Note: As AP EAMCET is fundamentally a state-level exam, it governs admission into regional engineering universities and state-affiliated private colleges instead of national institutions like IITs/NITs/IIITs, which rely on JEE Main parameters).

APSCHE releases the question answer key after exam is conducted. Candidates who are planning to appear in the future attempts of the AP EAMCET exam must use the question papers to analyse the difficulty level of the exam.
