KIITEE 2026: Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) will conclude the KIITEE 2026 registration for phase 1 on April 8, 2026. Candidates who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent in the last 2 years or are appearing this year and 60% marks in PCM taken together, can apply for KIITEE. The KIITEE application form is available online at kiitee.kiit.ac.in. Applicants must note that there is no application fee for the test.

KIITEE exam date 2026 is April 16 to 20, for phase 1. The phase 2 exam will be held from June 4 to 8, while phase 3 will be held from July 5 to 7, 2026. Registered candidates can choose their preferred exam date out of the available dates through the KIITEE slot booking process. The authority has commenced the KIITEE 2026 slot booking for phase 1 on April 8.

Aspirants must prepare for the test as per the KIITEE syllabus. The exam will be held as a computer-based test for 120 MCQs from physics, chemistry, and mathematics. The exam duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes. Check this article for complete details on the KIITEE 2026 exam.

What is KIITEE?

KIITEE is an entrance examination for KIIT, which is a deemed university. KIITEE stands for Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination. It is a common entrance test for admission to courses (except MBBS, BDS, PG Medical & PG Dental) offered by the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. The KIITEE exam is conducted for admissions to 35 courses offered at KIIT. The KIITEE syllabus and exam pattern vary for each course. Based on the marks of the candidates in KIITEE, separate merit lists are drawn for all courses. Admission is offered based on counselling and seat allocation conducted by KIIT.

KIITEE Eligibility Criteria

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology has released the KIITEE 2026 eligibility criteria. The eligibility requirements for each course are different. Applicants must check the eligibility requirements for their course before filling the application form. Candidates can find the course-wise KIITEE eligibility below.

Candidates applying for B.Tech(4 Years) Course should fulfill the following criteria:

  1. Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination in 2024, 2025 or appearing in 10+2 examination in 2026 are only eligible to apply for B.Tech (4 Years) course of the University.
  2. Should have studied in regular full time formal education in their schooling/college.
  3. Pass in 10 +2 or its equivalent with at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together.
  4. B.Tech Biotechnology / Integrated M.Tech Biotechnology. Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology taken together.
  5. Should have born on or after 01.07.2005.

KIITEE 2026 Application Form

The KIITEE 2026 application form was released on November 10, 2025. The KIITEE registration 2026 link is active on the website, kiitee.kiit.ac.in. Applicants must check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. To apply for the exam, students have to complete registration, fill the form and upload documents. There is no fee for the KIITEE application form 2026. The KIITEE registration last date for phase 1 is April 8.

  • Visit the website - kiitee.kiit.ac.in 2026. 
  • Select the ‘Online Application’ tab from the homepage. 
  • Go through the Instructions to fill out the form. 
  • Fill out the ‘KIITEE Online Application Form’ and submit it. 
  • Upload photograph, Signature & 10th Pass Certificate/Mark sheet. 
  • Preview all details and submit the KIITEE application form.  

NOTE: Candidates should retain photocopies of the ‘printed application form’, for future use.

KIITEE Exam Centres 2026

The KIITEE exam will be conducted in 69 cities across 27 states and UTs in India. Applicants have to enter the centre preferences as part of the KIITEE 2026 application form. Candidates appearing for the exam have to choose two preferences for the KIITEE exam centres. The authorities will allot the centres as per availability. The KIITEE exam centres 2026 will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while filling out the application form. Applicants must note that the authorities will not allow candidates to change the KIITEE exam city after completing the application form.

KIITEE Result 2026

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology will declare the KIITEE result on its website, kiitee.kiit.ac.in. Applicants appearing for the KIITEE 2026 exam can check their results using their application number and date of birth. The authority will announce the results for each phase separately. A separate KIITEE merit list will be prepared for all the courses based on the scores in the exam. The KIIT result will be available as a rank card. The KIITEE rank card will include the candidate's rank, personal details and qualifying status. In case two or more candidates obtain equal marks in the KIITEE 2026 result, the inter-se merit of such candidates shall be determined as follows: 

  • BTech: Based on marks obtained in Mathematics and Physics and then by age (preference to older candidates). 
  • BArch: Based on marks obtained in NATA. 
  • BTech LE: Based on marks obtained in Mathematics, then in Basic Electrical Engineering, and then by age. (Preference to older candidates).

KIITEE 2026 Counselling

The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology will conduct the KIITEE 2026 counselling online. The counselling process will comprise choice filling, seat allotment, verification and reporting to the allotted college. The KIITEE counselling will be based on the ranks obtained in the exam. The authority will announce the KIITEE counselling schedule online. Candidates have to attend the counselling as per the schedule. Shortlisted students who are called for counselling have to bring original documents (listed below) and token fees to the counselling centre.

  • Diploma Pass Certificate and three years Mark Sheet (for Lateral Entry Candidates). 
  • BTech/B.E./ MCA/ M.Sc. or Equivalent Degree Certificate (For MTech. /LLM/Ph.D Candidates) 
  • A relevant certificate issued by the Competent Authority, clearly indicating the reservation criteria claimed by the candidate. 
  • GATE Score Card (for MTech. GATE Qualified only). 
  • Demand Draft of INR 75,000/- which includes the counselling registration fees of INR 10,000 (Non-Refundable) in favor of KIIT, payable at Bhubaneswar. The balance fee as per the fee structure is to be paid on the day of reporting.
