KIITEE 2026: Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) is conducting the KIITEE registration 2026 at kiitee.kiit.ac.in. Candidates who seek admission to KIIT have to apply and appear for the test. The last date to submit the KIITEE 2026 application form for phase 1 is April 8, 2026. There is no application fee for the KIITEE exam.

The authority has announced the KIITEE exam date 2026. The phase 1 exam will be held from April 16 to 20, 2026. The phase 2 exam will be conducted from June 4 to 8, 2026. The phase 3 exam will be held from July 5 to 7, 2026.

Candidates should prepare for the exam as per the official KIITEE syllabus and exam pattern. As per the exam pattern, the KIITEE exam will be conducted in online mode, as a computer-based test. Though students have to report to the allotted exam centre to take the test. Registered candidates can choose their preferred slots and download their admit card to appear for the exam. The exam will have 120 questions from PCM, which are to be answered in 2 hours and 30 minutes.

What is KIITEE?

KIITEE is an entrance examination for KIIT, which is a deemed university. KIITEE stands for Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination. It is a common entrance test for admission to courses (except MBBS, BDS, PG Medical & PG Dental) offered by the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. The KIITEE exam is conducted for admissions to 35 courses offered at KIIT. The KIITEE syllabus and exam pattern vary for each course. Based on the marks of the candidates in KIITEE, separate merit lists are drawn for all courses. Admission is offered based on counselling and seat allocation conducted by KIIT.

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology released the KIITEE 2026 application form on November 10, 2025. Students can fill the KIITEE application form online at kiitee.kiit.ac.in. Applicants must check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. The application process comprises registration, filling the form and uploading documents. There is no fee for the application form of KIITEE 2026. The KIITEE registration last date for phase 1 is April 8.

Q:   What is the minimum qualifying mark for KIITEE?
A: 

The qualifying marks for the KIITEE are different for each stream or discipline. Candidates securing the minimum qualifying mark will be eligible for further admission. 

  • For BTech programmes of four years duration, the applicant must have passed 10+2 in 2024 or 2025 or must be appearing in the final year examination. The minimum qualifying mark for BTech admission is 60% in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.

In case two or more candidates obtain equal marks in the KIITEE 2026 result, the inter-se merit of such candidates shall be determined as follows: 

  • BTech: Based on marks obtained in Mathematics and Physics and then by age (preference to older candidates). 
  • BArch: Based on marks obtained in NATA. 
  • BTech LE: Based on marks obtained in Mathematics, then in Basic Electrical Engineering, and then by age. (Preference to older candidates).

KIITEE 2026 Counselling

The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology will conduct the KIITEE 2026 counselling online. The counselling process will comprise choice filling, seat allotment, verification and reporting to the allotted college. The KIITEE counselling will be based on the ranks obtained in the exam. The authority will announce the KIITEE counselling schedule online. Candidates have to attend the counselling as per the schedule. Shortlisted students who are called for counselling have to bring original documents (listed below) and token fees to the counselling centre.

Documents Required for KIITEE Counselling 2026

  • KIITEE admit card 
  • KIITEE rank card 
  • 10th pass certificate 
  • 12th Mark sheet and Pass Certificate 
  • The graduation mark sheet and Pass Certificate only for MCA, MCA(LE), M.Sc. (Biotechnology / Applied Microbiology). 
  • Diploma Pass Certificate and three years Mark Sheet (for Lateral Entry Candidates). 
  • BTech/B.E./ MCA/ M.Sc. or Equivalent Degree Certificate (For MTech. /LLM/Ph.D Candidates) 
  • A relevant certificate issued by the Competent Authority, clearly indicating the reservation criteria claimed by the candidate. 
  • GATE Score Card (for MTech. GATE Qualified only). 
  • Demand Draft of INR 75,000/- which includes the counselling registration fees of INR 10,000 (Non-Refundable) in favor of KIIT, payable at Bhubaneswar. The balance fee as per the fee structure is to be paid on the day of reporting.
