WBJEE Counselling 2026: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board has started WBJEE 2026 counselling registration and choice filling for Round 2. Qualified candidates can now register for WBJEE 2026 Round 2 counselling online at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. The last date for WBJEE 2026 Round 2 counselling is July 17. Fresh registrations and choice filling are accepted for second round of WBJEE counselling 2026. Candidates will have to pay WBJEE 2026 counselling fee online through net banking, credit card or debit card.
WBJEE 2026 seat allotment result for Round 2 will be released on July 21. Selected candidates will have to confirm their admission by paying WBJEE 2026 seat acceptance fee. Allotment of seats has been done based on WBJEE rank, preferences and availability. JEE Main candidates are also eligible for 10% approved seats in self-financing institutes. WBJEE 2026 counselling registration is now open for Round 2. Candidates will have to log in with their roll number and password to be registered for WBJEE counselling 2026. After logging in, they will have to pay WBJEE 2026 counselling fee online.

WBJEE 2026 Counselling - Round 2
WBJEEB is conducting WBJEE 2026 Round 2 counselling as an upgradation round. The second round is held for candidates who were not allotted in the first round or those who not satisfied with their allotment and chose upgradation. However, candidates who have been allotted their first choice in Round 1 will not be able to participate in the second counselling round.
For Round 2 of WBJEE 2026 counselling, fresh registrations or new choice filling will be allowed. WBJEEB will announce seat allotment result online at official website. If candidates are upgraded, they will have to confirm their allotment before final date. If they are not given admission in their higher preference, then they can go back to their previous allotment.

WBJEE seat acceptance fee will be refundable if students withdraw their admission in second round. If they fail to meet refund criteria, then their seat acceptance fee will not be refunded.

During WBJEE counselling, the students who want to withdraw their admission have to complete it before the last date. If the withdrawal is not done on time, then they will not be able to get refund of the seat acceptance fee.
During second round of WBJEE counselling, candidates can go back to their previous allotment, if they are not allotted in their higher preference. If they are allotted higher preference, then their previous seat will be automatically cancelled.
After the seats are allotted, students will have to pay seat acceptance fee of INR 5000 online to download allotment letter. Next, they will have to report to their respective college for document verification and tuition fee payment.
WBJEE cutoff is released online. It is prepared after checking different exam and admission related factors. Some important factors that are considered to determine cutoff are entrance exam difficulty level, previous years' cutoff trends, number of seats for admission, total number of applicants and more.
Students with valid JEE Main scores can apply for admissions through WBJEE counselling. However, these students will be eligible for allotment only in 10% approved seats offered by self financing colleges and institutes participating in state level counselling.
