The AILET counselling 2026 is ongoing presently. The AILET counselling 2026 window closed on December 27, 2025. NLU Delhi is releasing the AILET merit list in phases. AILET Question Paper 2026

AILET Admit Card 2026

NLU Delhi released the AILET 2026 Admit Card on November 26. The AILET 2026 admit card is issued to the candidates who register for the exam within the deadline. Candidates with the hall ticket will be allowed to enter the examination hall only. As per the official notification, candidates will have to carry a valid identity proof along with their admit card to the examination hall for verification.

AILET BA LLB Eligibility Criteria 2026

Educational Qualifications	Candidates must have passed their class 12 exams with minimum 45% scores from a recognized institute. SC/ST/PwD candidates must score a minimum 40% aggregate score in their class 12. The minimum qualifying marks for OBC candidates in Class 12 is 42%. Candidates who are appearing for their class 12 exams are also eligible to appear for the AILET exam.
Age Limit	There is no age limit to take up the AILET exam.

AILET LLM Eligibility Criteria 2026

Educational Qualifications	Candidates must have attained their LLB degree or an equivalent law degree minimum 50% scores from a recognized institute. SC/ST/PwD candidates must score a minimum 44% aggregate score in their LLB course. Candidates who are appearing for their final year/semester of their LLB programme are also eligible to appear for the AILET exam.
Age Limit	There is no age limit to take up the AILET exam.

Q: How many times AILET 2026 exam is held?

The AILET (All India Law Entrance Test) is conducted once a year. It is held in December for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs at the participating National Law Universities (NLU Delhi). AILET 2026 was held on December 14, 2025. AILET Exam is held in pen-and-paper mode.

The AILET counselling fee of INR 30,000 (INR for reserved category candidates) will be refunded only to candidates who have successfully registered for the counselling and paid the fee but who could not find a place in the merit list.
