Anna University is set to conduct TANCET 2025 exam for MBA and MCA courses on March 22. Both MBA and MCA question papers are released separately. TANCET MBA exam have five sections, whereas MCA exam will have four sections. Both MBA and MCA exam have 100 questions divided equally across sections. Anna University releases the TANCET question paper every year.

A recent poll conducted by Shiksha.com surveyed 393 TANCET 2025 aspirants about their preferred study resources. The results provide a clear picture of the most popular methods used by candidates to prepare for the exam.

As per a poll, 50 per cent of the TANCET aspirants prefer previous year’s question paper for preparation. 

• Past Year Question Papers: The poll revealed that 50 per cent of respondents rely on past year question papers for their TANCET preparation. This indicates that maximum candidates find value in practising with actual questions from previous exams to understand the format and type of questions that may appear.
• YouTube Tutorials and Lectures: 22 per cent of the participants use YouTube tutorials and lectures as their primary study resource. The availability of a wide range of educational content on YouTube makes it a convenient and accessible option for many students.
• Material from Coaching Classes: 21 per cent of the candidates depend on materials provided by coaching classes. These materials often offer structured and comprehensive coverage of the syllabus, which can be beneficial for thorough preparation.
• Study Groups with Friends: Only 7 per cent of the respondents prepare through study groups with friends.

The poll results highlight the diverse approaches taken by TANCET aspirants in their preparation. With half of the candidates relying on past year question papers. Additionally, the significant use of online resources like YouTube reflects the growing trend of digital learning.

This year, 38,301 candidates have registered for TANCET and CEETA PG combined. Anna University will conduct the exams across 42 test centres situated in 16 cities of Tamil Nadu.
