Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the Karnataka PGCET first seat allotment results on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/pgcet2023. Earlier, KEA had scheduled the release of the PGCET first round seat allocation details on January 23. However, due to extension in the last date for option entry to January 24, KEA did not declare the seat allotment results yesterday. Candidates who have been alloted a seat in the first allotment round have to complete the choice filling process as per the schedule.

Steps to check Karnataka PGCET 1st Seat Allotment Result 2023

The space below mentions the steps to be followed to check the Karnataka PGCET seat allotment result from the official website:

  1. Visit the official exam website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/pgcet2023
  2. Click on the relevant link for Karnataka PGCET first round seat allotment result
  3. Enter the login credentials, including the PGCET number
  4. Click on the β€˜Submit’ button to access the Karnataka PGCET first round allotment details

Karnataka PGCET Choice Filling 2023

Candidates who participated in the PGCET first allotment will have to undergo the choice filling process. KEA provides four choices to the candidates after the first allotment is released. Four choices with the candidate are as follows:

  • Choice 1: Such candidates are satisfied with the allotted seat and do not wish to participate in the further seat allotment round.
  • Choice 2: such candidates are satisfied with the allotted seat; however, they wish to participate in the subsequent allotment round. Candidates become eligible to participate in the subsequent round after making the payment and keeping the seat allotted on hold. However, in case a seat in the better option by the candidate is allotted to him/her, the seat from the first round is cancelled. Candidates will not have a choice between the seat allotted in the second round and the first round
  • Choice 3: Such candidates are not satisfied with the allotted seat and wish to forfied the same. However, they wish to participate in the second round of PGCET seat allotment. Candidate choosing this option will have to go through the option entry again in the second round.
  • Choice 4: Such candidates are not satisfied with the allotted seat and wish to quit from the Karnataka PGCET seat allotment process for future seat allocation rounds.

KEA will release the Karnataka PGCET seat allotment schedule for second admission round separately.
