OJEE form filling 2026 started on January 28, 2026, at ojee.nic.in. Last date of OJEE registration 2026 was March 29, 2026. OJEE exam date 2026 was announced by the OJEE Cell. OJEE 2026 will be held on May 4, 5, 7, 8, and 9. Admission to various UG and PG programmes in Odisha is done through OJEE scores. OJEE exam is held every year in a Computer-based mode (CBT). 

OJEE syllabus is different for different courses. OJEE MBA syllabus 2926 includes major topics such as Quantitative Techniques, Verbal Reasoning and Comprehension, Analytical and Logical Reasoning and General Awareness and Business Fundamentals.

What is OJEE?

Odisha Joint Entrance Exam, OJEE, is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the OJEE Cell for admission to B.Pharm, MBA/PGDM, MCA, and M.Tech courses. The OJEE exam was held in the computer-based test (CBT) mode for different programmes. Based on OJEE scores, candidates can apply for admission to various programmes offered by OJEE-participating colleges. OJEE is also conducted for admission to Lateral Entry B.Tech, MCA/Lateral Entry MCA courses. Biju Pattanaik Film and Television Institute of Odisha (BPFTIO), offers four-year degree programmes for the academic session in Cinematic Art and Technology in three prime disciplines, i.e., Cinematography, Sound Recording and Sound Design and Film editing. Candidates who wish to appeared for BCAT and MSc Computer Science also had to apply through the OJEE exam.

Here is an overview of the OJEE exam:

  • OJEE is a state-government-controlled centralized entrance exam conducted for admissions to various private and government colleges in Odisha.
  • The exam is conducted once every year in the computer-based test mode.
  • The OJEE exam is usually of moderate difficulty level and is easier than the other MBA exams, such as CATXATATMA, etc.
  • OJEE has four sections - Quantitative Techniques, Verbal Reasoning and Comprehension, Analytical and Logical Reasoning and General Awareness and Business Fundamentals.
  • OJEE exam has multiple-choice questions for all courses.
  • The duration for the BPharma exam is three hours, for LE BTech, LE BSc/ LE, MCA/LE MCA, MBA, MTech and MArch the duration is two hours and for Mpharm, Integrated MBA and LE BPharm the duration is one hour.

OJEE 2026 Registration and Application Process

OJEE form fill up date 2026 has been notified by the OJEE Cell. OJEE registration 2026 is an online process. OJEE 2026 application form is available online on the website of OJEE (www.ojee.nic.in/). Students appearing for the OJEE exam are required to fill online application form before last date of application. OJEE application process includes:

  • Creating a new user profile by filling OJEE registration form with details such as name, date of birth, gender, email ID and phone number, ID proof, etc.
  • Filling out the complete OJEE application form using the application number and password.
  • Paying the OJEE application fee via credit/debit card, internet banking, UPI or other banking wallets.
  • Uploading the required documents and left-hand thumb impression in the prescribed format.

OJEE Form Correction Window

OJEE Cell will open the OJEE form correction window in April 2026, tentatively after the OJEE apply date 2026. Students who made an error or a mistake while applying for OJEE 2026 will be able to make corrections in the application form during the correction window. Students should make correction before the last OJEE 2026 registration date. To make corrections in the OJEE application form, students should login to candidate portal, make necessary corrections or edits, and submit the form.

OJEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

OJEE eligibility criteria is different for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Minimum OJEE eligibility criteria to apply for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes is:

OJEE 2026 eligibility criteria for postgraduate programmes

  1. MBA - The student must hold a graduation degree in any relevant discipline or equivalent or bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy of four years duration with a minimum 50 per cent aggregate. Students in their final year are also eligible to apply. There is no prescribed age limit defined for MBA programmes.
  2. MTech - The students must have obtained a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate or above in their graduation from a relevant discipline. Students in the final year of the qualifying examination can also apply. No age limit is prescribed for admission to MTech programmes.
  3. MCA - Student should have completed their graduation of a minimum of three years duration in any discipline with a minimum of 50 per cent and should have studied Mathematics at 10+2 or undergraduate level. Final years students are also eligible to apply for MCA. There is no age bar for admission to the MCA programme.
  4. MArch - Students should have completed their bachelor's in Architecture with a minimum aggregate of 50 per cent to be eligible to apply for MArch. Students in the final year of the qualifying exam can also apply. No age limit is prescribed by the OJEE board for admission.
  5. MPharma - Students must have completed their graduation in Pharmacy with at least 50 per cent or more. No age bar is defined by the board for admission. Final year students can also apply.
  6. MSc Computer Science - Students should have completed a BSc degree with at least 50 per cent aggregate or more. Students who have passed BCA with science as the mainstream in Class 12 are also eligible to apply. Reserved category students have a relaxation of 5% aggregate

OJEE Eligibility Criteria for UG programmes

  • Student should have completed Class 12 or any equivalent examination from a recognised board to apply for undergraduate courses.
  • Student must hold a diploma or bachelor degree from a relevant stream to apply for lateral entry courses.
  • Student must be a graduate in any relevant discipline from a recognised university.

OJEE 2026 eligibility criteria for undergraduate programmes

  1. BPharma: Students who have qualified Class 12 examination in the science stream with a minimum of 45 per cent aggregate can apply for the OJEE exam 2026. There is no prescribed age limit for admission to the B.Pharma programme.
  2. BHMS or BAMS: Students should have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology) with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate in all three subjects taken together. There is no age bar. 
  3. BCAT: Students should have passed Class 12 in the science stream from a recognised board.

Note: OJEE exam is not conducted for admission to MBBS, BDS, BE/BTech. The applicants will be admitted based on NEET and JEE Main, respectively.

OJEE Preparation Tips 2026

OJEE exam preparation should start at least six months before OJEE exam date. The OJEE 2026 will be held on May 4, 5, 7, 8, 9 and 10. The first thing is to have an organised study timetable which incorporates each topic of OJEE 2026 exam syllabus and at the same time gives the students enough time for revision and practice. 

Begin the OJEE preparations with important topics and understanding the basics. Students can start with the tougher topics and then move on to the easier ones. Once they have covered the syllabus, they should try their hands on the sample and practice papers. The OJEE preparation strategy should include:

OJEE admit card is an important document which is to be carried to the exam centre. OJEE admit card 2026 will likely be released in the last week of April 2026. Special OJEE admit card will also be released on the OJEE website, ojee.nic.in. Students who complete the OJEE 2026 registration can download the admit card.   • Login using the login details, i.e. Application number and date of birth.
  • Click on Download admit card and same will appear on the screen.

OJEE 2026 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates need to follow a few guidelines on the exam day to have a hassle free exam experience. Check out the OJEE exam day guidelines mentioned below to be followed on the exam day:

  • Make sure that you are carrying the OJEE admit card to the exam centre as candidates will not be allowed inside the exam centre without the admit card.
  • Reach the test centre at least an hour before the exam timings to check for the seating plan and complete frisking formalities at the entry gate. No candidate will be allowed entry into the exam centre at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

What is Special OJEE 2026?

Special OJEE or 2nd OJEE is the exam conducted for admission to first year courses in all private and government colleges in Odisha against the vacant seats left after the first round of OJEE counselling. Students who want to take admission through OJEE but couldn't appear for the exam can apply through Special OJEE. Special OJEE will be conducted for admissions to BTech, LeTech (Diploma), LeTech (B.Sc), MBA, MCA, MTech, MPlan, MArch and MPharma courses under OJEE. The students belonging to states other than Odisha are not eligible for admission to government colleges; however, they can opt for private colleges. Students who hold a rank in OJEE or JEE Main, do not have to appear for Special OJEE. 

Special OJEE 2026 will likely be held in the second week of July 2026, and the registration will likely begin in June 2026.

OJEE admission process 2026 will begin with the OJEE exam registrations 2026. The candidates will be required to visit the OJEE website and register themselves for the exam online. The OJEE registration process includes form filling and paying the OJEE application fee of INR 1,000. In case, the candidates are applying for a combination of papers such as M.Tech and MBA or MBA and MCA, then the fee will be INR 1,500. 

Registered candidates can download the OJEE admit card from the candidate portal. They should read the instructions on the admit card to find their centre details and exam day guidelines. OJEE Counselling Process

Admission to top courses through OJEE will be done after OJEE counselling rounds. OJEE 2026 counselling process will likely start in the third week of June 2026. All rank holders in OJEE, JEE Main and NEET are eligible to participate in the counselling process irrespective of their admission status. OJEE 2026 counselling is an online process for final seat allotment. Students scoring well in the exam can participate in the OJEE counselling round according to their ranks and schedule. The OJEE board releases the final seat allotment after the counselling process. Candidates can login using their login details to participate in the counselling process. Students who appear for the Special OJEE exam and will be awarded ranks must note that the ranking for this course starts from 1100001.

Q:   What should I do if the examination center allotted to me for OJEE is far from my location?
A: 

Once the OJEE examination center is allocated, it is usually final. Hence, if the OJEE exam centre that has been alloted to you if far from the your current location then, plan your journey in advance. Research the location and calculate the estimated travel time and plan to arrive at the center well before the reporting time. Choose a reliable mode of transport to travel to the location and look out for an accomodation in advance if necessary.

No, candidates can not make any changes once the OJEE application form has been submitted and the admit card has been issued. Candidates can however, contact the exam conducing authorities if they find any error in the OJEE admit card. Having said that, OJEE exam conducting authorities reserve the right to modify, add or combine any test centre/s if required.
Q:   What should I do if there is an error on my OJEE admit card?
A: 
Candidates must carefully check the OJEE admit card before downloading it. If they find an error in the OJEE admit card, candidates must immediately report the same to the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Cell. Candidates must know that OJEE admit card is an important document which is to be carried to the OJEE exam centre. They must carry a coloured print out to the exam centre along with a recent passport size photograph affixed to with and other documents too.
Q:   Will the OJEE admit card include allotted test centre details?
A: 
Yes, the OJEE admit card will mention all the details of the exam centre which has been allotted. Candidates must note that they will not be allowed to change the exam centre. They must reach the OJEE exam centre at least an hour before the exam starts to complete the frisking formalities.
Q:   Is only OJEE score a factor for admission to the colleges in Odisha?

No, OJEE score is not only factor. Others are:

  1. OJEE scores: Candidates who meet OJEE cutoff score set by colleges are shortlisted for next round.
  2. Group Discussion: In the GD round, candidates are divided into groups and given a topic to discuss.
  3. Personal Interview: The PI stage checks overall personality, communication skills, work experience, academic background, etc. 
  4. Academic Record: Academic record of a candidate is also an important factor in final selection process.

OJEE or Odisha JEE is a state level entrance exam for admission to various colleges in Odisha. The scope of OJEE is that it is a gateway for admission to various UG and PG programmes in colleges in Odisha. Students who wish to pursue courses such as BTech, MBA, MPharma, BPharma, BCAT, Integrated MBA, MCA, etc. can appear for OJEE and take admission to various colleges and universities in Odisha.

Q:   Is the OJEE BPharma syllabus difficult?

BPharma syllabus of OJEE is easy to moderate. It is similar to other pharmacy entrance syllabuses. The syllabus includes important topics such as Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacognosy, etc. 

Q:   Can the OJEE cutoff change from year to year?
A: 

Yes the OJEE cutoff is different each year. The difference is dependant on various factors such as difficulty level of the exam, number of candidates who qualified, reservation criteria, etc. The OJEE cutoff may change during the different OJEE counselling rounds. 

Q:   If I forget to carry my OJEE admit card to the exam centre, can I show a digital copy?
A: 
No, candidates have to carry a coloured printout of the OJEE admit card to the exam centre to get an entry. OJEE admit card is a mandatory document which is to be carried to the exam centre along with a recent coloured passport size photograph affixed to it. The photograph should match the one uploaded in the OJEE application form.
Q:   Is OJEE application form available offline?
A: 

No, the OJEE application form is available in online mode only which can be filled on official website of OJEE. There is no provision of filling the application form offline. Candidates also need to make an online fee payment.

Q:   Who can apply for OJEE 2026?
A: 

Minimum requirement for appearing for OJEE is graduation. Basic OJEE eligibility criteria include:

  • Age Limit: There is no age bar for the candidates appearing for postgraduate courses, however, candidates appearing for BAMS/BHMS or Pharma must be at least 17 years of age as of December 31
  • Nationality: Candidates appearing for OJEE must be a citizen of India. If they wish to take admissions to government colleges in Odisha then the candidates must be a native of Odisha.
  • Educational Qualification: For undergraduate courses, candidate must have cleared Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board. As for postgraduate courses, they should have Bachelor or Diploma degree from a recognised university or institute
  • Work experience: OJEE exam eligibility criteria do not include work experience. Both working and non-working candidates can apply for the exam
Q:   What is age limit for OJEE?
A: 

Any graduate candidate with a 50 percent aggregate can apply for OJEE. The applicant must also be a citizen of India. There is no age bar for the candidates appearing for the exam. However, candidates appearing for BTech Marine Engineering exam must not be more than 22 years of age. 

Q:   Can a students appear for OJEE exam after Class 12?
A: 

Candidates who are looking for admission to the undergraduate courses, can fill OJEE application form online after Class 12. 

Class 12 students applying for these courses should fulfil the OJEE eligibility criteria according to their preferred course.
