Q:   Who releases TANCET cutoff scores?
A:
TANCET participating colleges define the TANCET cutoff scores or the last ranks for admission. However, participating institutes do not release a cutoff list for candidates to check during the admission process. In fact the cutoff scores are not released by any authority during the admission session. Candidates can find the TANCET cutoff scores and TANCET last ranks, from the previous admission session, published on the official admission website, I. e. Tamil Nadu-mbamca. Com. All queries related to the centralised admission, counselling, cutoffs, vacancy details, among other information is published on the counselling website, aka the admission website. Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, has the authority to publish the previous year TANCET cutoff on the official admission website.
Q:   What are some of the TANCET colleges for admission to 99+ percentile holders?
A:
Tamil Nadu has more than 300 MBA colleges that accept TANCET scores for MBA Admission. Candidates with a 99+ percentile can easily convert the admission call from the top colleges accepting TANCET. CEG and PSGCT are the only colleges that offer admission only to 99+ percentile from the Open category. Candidates securing 99 percentile in TANCET exam must choose the college and course preference during the choice-filling process with caution. Candidates who have a score of 99 percentile can easily expect the admission in PSGCT or CEG, Anna University.
Q:   TANCET percentile is 93.6. what is the relativity between percentile and score?
A:
Anna University compiles the TANCET result by evaluating actual score and percentile score. Actual score is calculated using the TANCET marking scheme. While the percentile score is calculated by evaluating the number of test takers using a specified formula. TANCET marks directly indicate the individual performance of the test takers in the exam, while the TANCET percentile score indicate the relative performance of the test taker in comparison to other test takers. Anna University will evaluate the number of test takers and the number of test takers with a less actual score to evaluate percentile score. A candidate with a 97 percentile score indicates he/she has a better actual score than 97 per cent of the test takers. Similarly, a candidate with a 78 percentile score indicates he/she has a better actual score than 78 per cent of the test takers.
