REAP 2026: The Centre for Electronic Governance (CEG) will conduct the REAP 2026 counselling process. Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) 2026 counselling is held for admission to the first year of BE/BTech and BArch courses offered by various government and private institutes of Rajasthan. It is expected that REAP counselling registration will commence in May 2026.

The online REAP counselling 2026 is held in around eight rounds. Each round of the REAP counselling process includes seat allotment, applying for upward movement and reporting for admission at the allotted institute. To be eligible for seat allotment via REAP counselling, candidates have to register for REAP 2026, fill out the college choice forms, and pay the registration fee. The candidates who register will be included in the REAP merit list drawn for all candidates in each category. REAP BE/BTech merit list 2026 is drawn based on JEE Main ranks and class 12 marks, and the BArch merit list is compiled based on JEE Main paper 2A scores or NATA scores.

What is REAP?

REAP is the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process. It is conducted by the Centre for Electronic Governance (CEG), set up by the government of Rajasthan. REAP is a centralised online counselling process for admission to the first year of BE/BTech and BArch courses offered by various government and private institutes of Rajasthan. The counselling process includes registration, choice filling, payment of registration fee, release of merit list, seat allotment and reporting at allotted institute for admission.

BE/BTech counselling is based on JEE Main rank and class 12 marks, with priority given to candidates with ranks of JEE Main. However, the BArch counselling is done based on JEE Main paper 2A score or the NATA score. In case both scores are used, the highest of the two is considered.

Q:   When will the REAP application form release?

The REAP application form will be released in May 2026. Candidates can check the FREAP registration date and other details on the official website.

Q:   Do I have to clear JEE Mains to appear in REAP exam?
A: 
Generally, admission is offered to students who appeared for JEE Mains on the basis of JEE rank or you can also take admission on the basis of class 12th marks. In May, the notification is released for REAP exam so then you can appear for the exam.
Q:   What is the eligibility criteria to apply for REAP?

REAP Counselling Registration 2026

Before applying for REAP 2026, candidates should make sure that they have a valid and permanent mobile number and email ID. The registration and login process for all students is OTP-based. It is important to note that candidates will not have the option to change their registered mobile number and email ID during the centralised counselling/admission process for REAP 2026.

  • Filling out the online application cum registration form, upload the required documents and filling out the college choice form.
  • Check confirmation mail for submission of the REAP application form.
  • Candidates must take Printouts/ Hardcopy only after the final submission of the online application form and college choice form.

REAP 2026 application fee: The fee for REAP application and registration form is INR 590.

Q:   Do I need to send hardcopy of the REAP form to the authorities?
A: 

No. There is no need to send the printout of the REAP form to the authorities. The online submission is enough to apply for the counselling process.

Q:   What is the specification of photo to be uploaded in REAP application form?
A: 

Candidates should upload the photo in the REAP counselling form as per the given specifications only. The scanned photo should be of a size less than 100 KB.

Q:   What should be the size of the photo to be uploaded in REAP counselling form?
A: 

Candidates have to upload their scanned signatures in the REAP application form, which is a maximum of 50 KB in size. Do not upload a signature done in any other ink apart from blue or black.

REAP 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can check below the eligibility criteria to apply for the REAP counselling process:

Eligibility criteria for admission to the first year of BE/BTech:

  • Passed 10+2 examination with Physics / Mathematics / Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology / Biology / Informatics Practices / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship.
  • Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

Passed DVoc Stream (NCrF level 4) in the same or allied sector. Eligibility criteria for admission in the first year of BArch (5 Years):

  • No candidate shall be admitted to an architecture course unless they have passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in these subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
  • The candidate needs to qualify NATA 2026 by CoA or JEE Main paper 2A by NTA.
  • The institutions shall give weightage of 50% marks for aptitude tests and 50% marks in the qualifying examination as provided in (1), in the matter of admission / rank determination.

The candidates from the general category need at least 45 percent marks in class 12 to be eligible for REAP counselling.

Q:   If don't have JEE Main marks, how will it affect my admission in REAP counselling?
A: 

Candidates with JEE Main scores of 20 percentile and above are given priority in REAP merit list. If you do not have JEE Main score, you will get less priority in ranking.

  1. Register for REAP 2026 counselling: Candidate must read instructions carefully before filling out online application cum registration form. During registration process, candidates have to fill in all details, upload necessary documents and pay registration fee.
  2. Check the REAP merit list: Based on eligibility and admission criteria, REAP merit list shall be drawn. Candidates whose names appear in merit list shall be allotted seats as per their ranks.
  3. Fill and lock the college choice form: Candidates are advised to fill college choice form after successful completion of application form, candidate can fill in as many choices as available to them.
  4. Check seat allotment result: REAP seat allotment result is published online on official website. The candidates allotted seats have to confirm seats or opt for upward movement.
  5. Apply for upward movement, if desired: The candidates allotted a seat and who wish to get a chance to have a better allotment can apply for an upward movement.
  6. Report at allotted institute for admission confirmation: Once desired seat is allotted to candidate, they must confirm admission by visiting allotted institute.

Q:   I am not from Rajasthan, can I apply for REAP counselling?
A: 

Yes, candidates from outside Rajasthan state can also apply for REAP counselling. But they will be treated as other state candidates and will not be eligible for admission to seats under the state quota.

Q:   Can I apply for REAP counselling in offline mode also?
A: 

No, the REAP counselling form can only be filled and submitted in online mode on the official website. There are no other mode to submit the REAP form.

Q:   What are the documents needed for REAP counselling process?

REAP Counselling Choice Filling 2026

The candidates who complete the REAP registration process can fill in the choices. The submission of preferences for courses and colleges after registration is called the REAP counselling choice filling. All candidates have to fill the choices in the REAP counselling in order of preference. After finalising the choices, candidates have to lock their choices and submit them. The choice filling can only be done under the respective logins of the candidates on the official website of REAP.

After the choices are filled, candidates can check their preference list and also download the same for their reference. The REAP seat allotment will be done based on the choices filled by the candidates and their ranks in the qualifying exam.

REAP Merit List 2026

The REAP merit list is released on the official REAP website. Candidates can check the REAP website to download the merit list PDFs. Candidates are allotted seats in the REAP counselling process based on their merit position in the REAP merit list. The REAP merit list is prepared following various priority and admission criteria as described below:

REAP 2026 Rank and Priority for Admission in BE/BTech course:

REAP 2026 rank list will be prepared based on the rank obtained in JEE Main 2026 or percentile / percentage in 12th / Diploma considering the priority as shown below in the table:

Candidates with JEE Main 2026 percentile 20 and above shall be given first priority in the REAP merit list. The candidates with JEE Main 2026 percentile less then 20 will be included in priority 2 or 3.

Percentile obtained in class 12th

The second priority will be given to the class 12 percentile marks. Candidates who are obtained in priority 1, will not be considered here.

Percentage obtained in DVoc in Engineering & Technology approved courses by the state government.

The candidates with DVoc qualifications will be given third priority while preparing the REAP merit list.

Merit and Priority for admission in first year of BArch:

REAP 2026 rank list for BArch course is prepared based on the score obtained in NATA 2026 / JEE Main paper 2A and percentile / percentage in 12th / Diploma with equal weightage (thus called “weighted score”) and considering the priority as shown below in the table:

The second priority will be given to the candidates with no JEE Main 2026 paper 2A or NATA score and who have a diploma as their qualification while preparing the merit list.

Tie-breaking: In case of a tie between the percentiles / percentage  / marks / weighted scores of candidates, the higher rank would be assigned to the candidate in the following pattern:

  1. Candidates having a higher age will be given a higher merit / rank.
  2. Thereafter the candidate who has applied earlier will be given a higher merit / rank.

The allotment of seats in REAP 2026 counselling shall be done based on the merit position of the candidates in the REAP 2026 merit list. All candidates whose names appear in the REAP merit list shall be allotted seats based on their merit rank, category and choices filled.

Documents to Carry at the Time of Reporting in REAP 2026

Candidates shall carry the following documents at the time of reporting to the allotted institute:

  1. Printout of provisional seat allotment letter taken from the REAP 2026 web portal using their login details. Candidate should paste their recent colour photographs on the Application cum Registration form with one additional coloured photograph with them.
  2. Aadhar Card / Aadhar Acknowledgement Receipt if available
  3. Class X (High School) Board Mark sheet / Certificate as proof of date of birth
  4. JEE Main 2026 result / NATA 2026 (if applicable)
  5. Mark sheet of class 12th (for Subjects) or DVoc

Q:   What is a tentative merit list in REAP counselling?

In REAP counselling, first, a tentative merit list is published.  The tentative merit list can be reviewed by the candidates, and they can challenge the same. If any changes are needed in the merit list, they will be made, and a final merit list will be released. Seat allocation is done based on the ranks in the final merit list of REAP.

Q:   Can I pay the REAP counselling fee in offline mode?

Yes, candidates can pay the REAP counselling registration fee using online and offline fee payment methods only on the official website. The payment modes available are:
