Are other exam scores accepted for BITSAT?

No other exam scores will be accepted for BITSAT admissions. Students will be considered for admission based on their BITSAT exam scores. However, board toppers will be eligible for direct admission. A separate application process will be open for the board topper direct admission scheme.

Which information will be available in the BITSAT result?

Through the BITSAT result, the students will be able to check their scores obtained in the exam. No ranks will be available in the result. Students will be able to download the result in the form of BITSAT score card for future use.

How will the expected BITSAT cutoff help me?

Students should check expected BITSAT cutoff to know score range they need to have a chance for admission into their preference. Knowing score range will help students prepare accordingly for exam as they now have a goal set for themselves.

How is the BITSAT cutoff prepared?

BITSAT cutoff is prepared after different exam and admission related factors are checked. Some factors that are checked to prepare cutoff are exam difficulty level, previous year's cutoff trends, number of seats for admission, number of applicants and more.

How is BITSAT merit list prepared?

BITSAT merit list will be prepared after checking performance of students in exam. Merit list will be released as admit and wait list. Students in admit list will be eligible for admission, while those in wait list will be called in for next round of allotment.

Can I request to review my BITSAT score?

BITS Pilani authorities will not accept any requests to review BITSAT score. Since score is calculated after careful revision, authorities will consider it as final. If there are mistakes in other details, then it can be informed to authorities.

Is there domicile requirement for BITSAT?

No, there is no domicile requirement for BITSAT admission. All Indian students are eligible for admission, if they meet the basic requirements. Through the BITSAT eligibility criteria, the students can check the important requirements that need to be met for admission.

How many sessions are held for BITSAT?

The authority conducts the BITSAT exam in two sessions. The BITSAT 2026 session 1 exam was held from April 15 to 16. The session 2 exam will be held from May 24 to 26, 2026. Candidates can appear in any one or both sessions. In case students appear for both the best of the two will be considered.

Will I be guaranteed admission if I meet the BITSAT cutoff?

Students will not be able to confirm their allotment if they meet the BITSAT cutoff. However, they will have higher admission chances to their choice of course and campus. Since the allotment process will consider other factors too along with cutoff, the students will know their admission status after the seats allotted are announced.

Where can I check the campus-wise BITSAT cutoff?

The campus-wise BITSAT cutoff will be released by the BITS Pilani authorities. The cutoff scores can be checked online at bitsadmission.com. Students are advised to check the previous years' cutoffs carefully to know the score range that is required to have higher chances of admission in their preference.

Does the BITSAT cutoff differ for every category?

Yes, the BITSAT cutoff will be different for every campus, course and category. The students may find that the cutoff score for popular courses and campuses high as compare to others. Similarly, reserved categories may have lesser cutoff than General category candidates.

Do the authorities release the BITSAT cutoff?

Yes, the authorities release the BITSAT cutoff online every year. The cutoff score for admissions in the preferred course and campus will be available for the candidates through the BITSAT cutoff. However, the students who meet the cutoff will not be guaranteed admission but will have higher chances.

BITSAT Cutoff: BITS Pilani will release the BITSAT 2026 cutoff online at admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in. Candidates preparing for the exam must refer to the cutoff marks to know what is considered a safe score in BITSAT. The BITSAT cutoff is prepared based on the candidate's marks in BITSAT 2026. Candidates can check the previous year BITSAT cutoff on this page to know the possibilities of getting a seat in the desired course.

Those who obtain equal to or above the cutoff scores have a better chance of getting admission. Admission to BITS Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses is strictly merit-based, determined solely by performance in BITSAT. Moreover, the BITSAT cutoff is different for each course and campus. Eligible candidates must also participate in the counselling and seat allotment process to complete their admission.
