JAC Delhi 2025 Counselling: Round 5 Seat Allotment (OUT), Cutoff (Round 1, 2, 3, 4 OUT), Dates REVISED

JAC Delhi counselling seat allotment status will be made available on candidate’s login after declaration of seat allotment result in each round as specified in the counselling schedule.

In such case, the candidate will not be considered in the remaining rounds of the JAC Delhi counselling.

In case of a tie, the candidate with higher rank in JEE Main, as issued by the NTA shall rank higher in JAC Delhi counselling for allotment of seats.

Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship JAC Delhi cutoff 2024 was concluded for Round 1. As per the DESU Round 1 cutoff 2024, the rank needed to get into DESU is between 53292 and 83421. IGDTUW cutoff 2024 is out for JAC Delhi for admission to the BTech and BArch courses. As per the Round 1 of IGDTUW JAC Delhi cutoff 2024, the closing ranks ranged between 3277 and 82511 wherein Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) was the most competitive course to get into for the students belonging to the General Home State category.  IGDTUW JAC Delhi cutoff 2024 for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering stood at, 43914 in Round 1. Yes. you can. Both counselling has different purpose. JoSAA is for admisison to IIT and NIT+ system while JAC Delhi is for admission to IIIT D, NSUT, DTU, DSEU, and IGDTUW. Admission via both JoSAA and JAC Delhi is based on JEE Main ranks.

JAC Delhi is a counselling program for students who want to pursue BE/BTech and BArch degree programs in Delhi. It is conducted for admission to 5 technical universities/institutes that are part of the Government of NCT Delhi. These include:

1. Delhi Technological University (DTU)
2. Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW)
3. Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-D)
4. Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU)
5. Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT)

BE/B.Tech Course at DTU, IGDTUW, NSUT, DSEU and Dual Degree (B.Tech+MBA) at IGDTUW: A candidate securing 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics Chemistry and Mathematics, and having passed English as a subject of study at the Senior School Certificate Examination Level (Core or Elective) will be considered eligible for admission to the first semester of B.Tech/BE course provided he/she has passed in each subject separately. B.Tech Course at IIIT D: A candidate who has secured 80% or more marks in the aggregate of the best of five subjects including Physics Chemistry & Mathematics and 80% or more in Mathematics in the qualifying examination will be considered eligible.

The number seats offered via the JAC Delhi counselling over the years are as follows:

To register for JAC Delhi 2025, candidates need the below given JEE Main 2025 details: JEE Main 2025 application form JEE Main 2025 admit card JEE Main 2025 application number The first step to register for JAC Delhi is to authenticate. To authenticate candidates have to enter the below details: JEE Main 2025 application number, Name as per JEE Main 2025 admit card. Date of birth as per JEE Main application. If the above-given details match, candidates can enter their email id and mobile number. The mobile number is to be verified using the OTP sent to the given number. After that candidates can set their password. This completes the registration process.

Both. Candidates must bring the original and self-attested copies of the required documents while reporting for document verification in JAC Delhi counselling.

Candidates who are issued the provisional JAC Delhi seat allotment letter and pay the seat acceptance fee have to then report to the reporting centre with all documents for verification. The reporting schedule is announced on the official website and candidates have to follow the same while reporting for document verification.

In the JAC Delhi 2025 counselling process, the document verification starts after the allotment of seats. The document verification process takes place in the offline mode. Seat allotments: Candidates are then allotted courses and institutes as per their JEE Main 2025 ranks and eligibility criteria. They are issued the seat allotment letter. Seat allotment letter and fee payment: After issuance of the seat allotment letter, candidates have to make the fee payment, confirm their seats and can freeze their allotted seat if they do not want any up-gradation of seat/institute as per their filled choices. Document verification: As per the schedule announced, candidates have to visit the reporting centre for verification of documents after they have paid the seat acceptance fee. Admission: The admission status will be then updated on the website under the respective logins of the candidates. Once the admission committee confirms the admission, the candidates can download the issued provisional admission letter from their respective logins on the official website.

Internel sliding in JAC Delhi counselling means, upgradation of course after seat allotment within the same college. There is internal sliding in JAC Delhi and it is available only to those candidates who have been allotted a seat andhave taken admission in the Institute.

According to the directions given by JAC for choice filling, you can edit your choices within the given time limit. The JAC announce the schedule for the counseling process, which included dates for choice filling and editing preferences. You can edit your choices only within this allotted time limit. Furthermore, you can only edit your selection if it has not been locked. Once you select the "locked choice" option, you cannot make any changes later on in any round. Therefore, if you are not sure about a choice, you can "save" it instead of locking it. Once you are sure about your choice, you can "lock" within the given time limit.

No. A student is eligible only if he/she has (i) secured 60 % or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and (ii) passed English as a subject of study of the Senior School Certificate Examination Level (Core or Elective). Some relaxation is given to reserved category students only.

For a candidate, who has passed the qualifying examination through Patrachar Vidyalaya, Delhi / National Institute of Open School, Delhi (NIOS), the criterion for deciding the region shall be the location of his/her centre of examination. In other words, if the centre of examination is located in the NCT of Delhi, the candidate shall be considered under the Delhi Region and if the centre of examination is located outside NCT of Delhi, he/she shall be considered under the Outside Delhi Region in JAC Delhi counselling.

Yes, candidates can directly register for the JAC Delhi and JAC Chandigarh spot rounds. However, note that the spot rounds are held as per the availability of vacant seats. JAC spot rounds are held physically. Candidates have to report physically along with payment of the balance fee at the respective University/Institute. A special Spot Round may be conducted by the respective University/Institute, if seats remain vacant after the spot round. JAC Delhi Counselling 2025 is conducted in 4 rounds and one spot round. The counselling process in each round includes registrations, choice filling, seat allotment, payment of the seat acceptance fee and physical reporting at the respective institute.

No. There is no quota for any of these categories through JAC. However, IGDTUW offers 02 seats in Sports Quota during special SPOT ROUND. Whereas, IIITD gives some bonus marks to applicants with specific achievements.

No. There is NO MANAGEMENT QUOTA seat in any of the participating university/institute of JAC Delhi counselling. Candidates are advised that they should not believe in unscrupulous elements claiming that they can arrange Management Quota seats. 

Yes. candidates can check reservation details in the admission brochure for information regarding number of seats and eligibility criteria for different categories in each of the participating university/institute of the JAC Delhi counselling process.

If you are from OBC/SC/ST category, then you will definitely get an admission. But with general category, it will be tough as the last cut -off is always around 90k. Even in spot round there will be barely any chance of general category to get an admission with rank above 90k. But with any category certificate you will easily get an admission within first 2-3 rounds.

As seen last year, IIIT Delhi implemented a bonus system where a certain number of bonus points will be added as per specific achievements to your percentile score of JEE Mains. For getting CSE, bonus points are required as a person with 6000 AIR, and 2 Bonus points got CSE in IIITD while a person with 600 AIR who was getting CSE in IIIT Hyderabad did not get CSE in IIIT Delhi because of no bonus points. (For, e. g. if you get even 99.95 %ile in JEE Mains, a person with 98percentile but with two bonus points will be evaluated at a score of 100 (98 + 2) and will be placed above the 99.95%iler in the merit list).

Usually, the cutoff for DTU stays around 90, even for the reserved categories. Therefore, getting into B.Tech courses at DTU is difficult with a JEE Main percentile score of 90 or below. The cutoff also goes high and low every year, depending on the following factors: Number of aspirants registered, The difficulty level of the exam, Total number of seats available, total number of applications received for a particular program, and the category under which admission is sought. Therefore, it is very difficult to predict the exact cutoff and give an exact answer to this question.

Admission through JAC counselling will be based on Common Rank List (CRL) secured in JEE Main. If you are applying for admission through JAC counselling then your CRL rank will be considered but your seat allotment will be make under the category you belong to if you belong to reserved category.

The registration cum counselling fee of JAC Delhi is INR 1500. The fee can be paid in any of the following ways: By Credit / Debit Card / Internet Banking through Bill Desk Payment Gateway: Candidates can pay their registration-cum-counselling fee using the BillDesk Payment Gateway facility accessible on this website. Additional Transaction Charges for this mode are given below: Credit / Debit Cards - 1.00% of the transaction amount plus Service Tax as applicable. Internet Banking - Rs. 10/- plus Service Tax as applicable. Using SBI Collect (Cash option also available here): Aspirants can pay the registration-cum-counselling fee using the SBI Collect option on the official website. Payment can be made using the net banking/credit /debit card. Note: After successful fee payment, candidates are required to visit the website and fill out the online registration form. If a candidate does not fill out the online application form, he/she will not be considered for any seat allotment in any round of counselling.

It may not be possible for you to change your details in your JEE Main application form once the admission process has begun. JEE Main correction window does open for some time but that is for the application process only. Thus, you cannot change your category in the JEE Application form for the counselling.

Admission to IIIT D B.Tech courses is via the JAC Delhi counselling only. Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) do not offer admission via JoSAA counselling. Therefore candidates have to apply for JAC Delhi 2025 counselling for B.Tech admission to IIIT D in 2025. Joint Admission Counseling Delhi conducts JAC Delhi counselling for admission to BE/B.Tech and B.Arch degree programmes offered by 5 technical universities/institutes of the Government of NCT, Delhi. These institutes/universities include Delhi Technological University (DTU), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-D), Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU), and Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT). .

Candidates are allowed to fill as many choices theu want via the JAC Delhi counselling process. As per the eligibility of the candidates, the available seats are displayed on the screen. Candidates need to select the choices as per their preference.

Yes. JAC Delhi registration portal will ask you to specify your category/sub-category/region (Whether Delhi or Outside Delhi) independent of what was mentioned by you in JEE Main application form.
