NTA will release the CUET admit card 2026 online in second week of May at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards online at cuet.nta.nic.in. The admit card will be available for download in PDF document and is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam centre. Prior to the release of the CUET UG admit card, NTA will release the advance intimation of exam city slip. It is not the admit card, but will inform candidates about the city. After downloading the CUET UG 2026 admit card, candidates will have to check all the details carefully and ensure that there is no mistake. In case of any error, they will have to contact NTA to get the necessary corrections done. 

Once National Testing Agency has issued the CUET intimation slip or admit card, the request for change in exam centre will not be entertained. Candidates cannot change the exam city or alloted exam centre once the CUET admit cards are released. Candidates must report at the allotted centre on given date and time.

CUET UG 2026 advance city slips will be released tentatively in last week of April 2026. NTA issues the city intimation slips approximately 10 days before the exam date. CUET UG 2026 exam will be held tentatively between May 11 and May 31, 2026. NTA will release the CUET intimation slip 2026 in multiple phases. Only registered candidates will be able to download CUET 2026 city slip online.

Common University Entrance Test UG 2026 admit cards will be issued 2-3 days before the exam date. With the CUET 2026 exam scheduled tentatively between May 11 and May 31, 2026, it is expected that CUET hall ticket 2026 will be released tentatively by May 08, 2026. Candidates can know the alloted exam centre address, exam dates and slot timings on release of the admit card.

CUET UG exam centre 2026 preference could be selected while filling the CUET application form. Candidates could select the preferred exam cities based on their present and permanent address. Once the CUET exam centre is alloted, candidates cannot request for change in exam city or centre.

Candidates are advised to immediately contact the officials and the conducting body if the candidate is not able to download their CUET UG 2026 admit cards online. The contact details will be provided on the official exam website and the information bulletin as well, when released. At the same time, candidates must ensure that they must complete the CUET 2026 application process carefully along with the payment of CUET application fee. Unless candidates have completed their application process successfully, candidate will not be issued the admit card for CUET UG 2026.

CUET UG admit card is an important documents for entry. The document contains important information about candidate, exam centre and examination details. Authorities use CUET admit card as an identity proof along with the valid ID proof for entry. CUET hall ticket also mentions the important instructions to appear for the CUET exam. Candidates must carry CUET UG admit card on the day of examination, without which no entry will be allowed under any circumstances. Candidates must reach alloted CUET exam centre two hours before mentioned exam time. Candidates must complete verification process and take their seats immediately after the opening of examination hall. If the candidates does not report at alloted CUET exam centre on time due to traffic, delay in transport, important instructions to appear for the exam can be missed.

CUET exam centre is allocated on the basis of the preferences entered by the candidate while filling the CUET application form. NTA allotes exam centre as per the preference entered and is subject to availability and logistical consideration.

While filling the CUET application form, candidates can select four cities of their choice. Choice of CUET exam centre cities will be limited to the State of permanent address or State of present address only. In case there are very few candidates from a city, the NTA reserves the right to merge one, two, or more cities.

CUET 2026 exam will be held in May-June 2026 in computer based mode over a month window. The exam will be held across more than 300 exam cities in India. Candidates will be able to know the alloted exam centre on issuance of CUET intimation slip or CUET admit card.

On the day of CUET exam, candidates must report at alloted exam centre one hour before the given time. Candidates must make sure to carry the following items are CUET exam centre:

• Print copy of CUET UG 2026 hall ticket with self declaration (undertaking)
• Ball point pen
• Additional passport size photograph (same as uploaded in online form)
• Any one authorized identity card- School Identity Card/ PAN card/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/E-Aadhaar with photograph/ Class 12 Board Admit Card with photograph/ Bank Passbook with Photograph
• PwD/PwBD certificate issued by authorized medical officer
• Diabetic candidate can carry Sugar tablets/Fruits like Banana/Apple/Orange

On release of CUET admit card, candidates must follow instrcutions mentioned.

• Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall 20 minutes after the commencement of examination.
• Candidates must carry photo ID proof in original for verification process. Candidates can bring any of the following ID proofs:
  • Election ID
  • PAN card
  • Driving licence
  • Photo ID issued by school/employer/university
  • Passprot
  • Aadhar Card
• Carry the CUET admit card in original along with the recent passport size photograph
• Candidates can carry black/blue ball pen
• Candidates will not be permitted to carry any electronic item inside the CUET exam centre. 
• Candidates will not be permitted to leave the examination hall until the exam duration is over.

National Testing Agency also known as NTA releases the CUET UG admit card. NTA releases the CUET hall ticket for each session seperately. Candidates registered for the exam must download the admit card online when released. Candidates must enetr the CUET application number, date of birth and password to download the CUET UG 2026 hall ticket.

Candidates are advised to keep the CUET admit card after the exam as proof of application and eligibility. In case of any discrepancies or issue that may arise, CUET admit card will act as verification of attendance and eligibility of the exam.
