CAT Geometry questions are usually TITA type so you don’t have any kind of a reference point to base your answer option selection. You have to apply the formula and solve it in rough sheet to find the correct value. The questions are largely based on Two-dimensional geometry, Three Dimensional Geometry, Co-ordinate geometry. To crack CAT Geometry questions you have to be thorough with basic Geometric formulae and know tricks to solve them in shortest time span.
Geometry is a sub part of CAT Quantitative Aptitude section. The questions are mostly of moderate difficulty level. The number of Geometry questions in CAT ranges from 8-9 out of 22. In CAT 2025 though, the number of Geometry questions was only 4. Earlier, when the CAT Quantitative Aptitude section used to have 32 questions, there used to be 13-14 Geometry questions.

The CAT 2026 cutoff has not been released yet. However, as per the 2025 cutoff, for admission to PGDM International Business at FORE School of Management, the last round cutoff percentile stood at 75 for the General AI category.
