Karnataka PGCET 2020 Scheduled on October 7; Application Process Restarts Today

Karnataka PGCET 2020 to be Conducted on October 7

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced the schedule of the Karnataka PGCET 2020 exam, which was postponed earlier. The entrance exam will be held on October 7, 2020. The Karnataka PGCET 2020 application process has also been reopened for the aspirants who could not apply earlier. The process will commence from August 14 (2 pm onwards) and will conclude on August 20 (5.30 pm). The last date to pay the application fee is August 21. According to KEA, those who had completed filled and submitted the Karnataka PGCET 2020 application form, but could not pay the application fee, will also be eligible to complete the fee payment process till August 21. The Karnataka PGCET 2020 dates have been postponed as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Karnataka PGCET 2020 Revised Schedule

Earlier, the application procedure for the exam was conducted in two phases, from June 15 to June 28 and July 4 to July 7. The exam was scheduled to be conducted on August 9, but it was postponed owing to the current pandemic scenario.

Karnataka PGCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

In order to take the Karnataka PGCET 2020 exam, candidates need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

• Candidate must have passed bachelor’s degree (minimum three years duration) or equivalent examination from a UGC/AICTE approved college

• General and OBC category candidates must have secured minimum 50 per cent marks in bachelor’s degree. For SC/ST and Category I candidates, the minimum marks required in 45 per cent

Karnataka PGCET 2020 application fee for General and OBC candidates is Rs 650, while for the SC/ST and Category-I candidates, it is Rs 500.
