What After COMEDK 2027 Result?
The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) conducts the COMEDK UGET counselling for admission. The counselling is conducted in online mode at comedk.org. Students have to undergo registration, document verification, choice filling and mock allotment before the final seat allotment. Candidates must participate in the counselling process as per the schedule. There are two types of seat categories in COMEDK counselling 2025- GM and KKR. The government has reserved 70% of the seats in colleges located in Kalyana Karnataka area in favour of locals and 8% of the seats are reserved for locals of the Kalyana Karnataka Region located outside the said region. The Kalyana Karnataka Region comprises of Kalaburagi, Yadgir, Bidar, Koppal, Raichur, Ballari and Vijayanagara districts.
How is COMEDK UGET Result 2027 Prepared?
The COMEDK exam is conducted in multiple sessions. The candidates are given different sets of questions per session/slot. It is quite possible that in spite of all efforts of maintaining equivalence among different question papers, the difficulty level of question papers administered in different slots may not be exactly the same. In order to maintain equivalence among different question papers, a normalisation procedure is adopted.
The academic team of COMEDK UGET 2027 /Uni-GAUGE E 2027 have taken every care to ensure equitable subject coverage and difficulty levels and normalisation of the question paper in line with the practice adopted by NTA/IIT’s.
Since the exam is conducted in multiple sessions, the test scores of the candidates will be taken in percentile for announcing rank. Percentile is derived by “Percentage of candidates who have got equal to or lower score than the candidate”. This percentile is normalised between all sessions.

In case two or more candidates score the same percentile in the COMEDK UGET result, then the authorities will opt for a tie-breaking rule as mentioned below.
- Least negative responses (number of wrong answers) in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.
- Aggregate scores in Physics and Mathematics in the COMEDK UGET 2027 exam.
- Scores in Mathematics in the COMEDK 2027.
- Age of the Candidate: The older candidate is ranked higher than the younger candidate.
