GUJCET 2021 to be held on August 6; check paper pattern, admit card details here
GUJCET 2021 will be held on August 6 and admit card will be avilable soon on the official website gujcet.gseb.org
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has announced that GUJCET 2021 exam will be conducted on August 6. The exam will be held offline across various cities of the state in two shifts between 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The question paper will be set in English, Hindi and Gujarati where candidates can write the test in any of the three languages.
GUJCET 2021 will have two papers, Paper 1 which will be held in morning shift and will consist of 80 question, 40 each from Physics and Chemistry and the total duration of paper will be 120 minutes. The second paper, Paper 2 will be held in afternoon shift and will consist of 80 questions, 40 each from Mathematics and Biology. Engineering aspirants will be required to solve only Mathematics part of Paper 2 while the Pharmacy aspirants will have to solve the Biology section.
The board has not announced any date for the release of GUJCET admit card 2021. It is expected that GUJCET 2021 admit card will be released around last week of July on the official website gujcet.gseb.org. Details of exam date and time, exam centre address, paper for which appearing, exam day instructions and candidates basic details like name, photo, signature, application number will be mentioned in the admit card.
The GUJCET 2021 application form was available from June 23 to July 14. Candidates who have applied for GUJCET 2021 within specified dates will be issued admit cards to appear in the exam. GUJCET is conducted every year to shortlist students for admission to various professional degree courses which include Engineering and Pharmacy.
The criteria for admission to engineering colleges for the academic year 2021-22 has also been revised. As per the new admission rules, the merit list for admission will be drawn with equal weightage to class 12 and GUJCET marks. Previously, the weightage of GUJCET was 40% while class 12 weighatge in preparation of merit was 60%.
