What is MET?
Manipal Academy of Higher Education conducts Manipal Entrance Test (MET) to select candidates for BTech admission into participating campuses. Based on MET scores, candidates can apply for BTech courses offered by participating four campuses. MET is held as an online test at various centres, and candidates will have to attempt objective questions.

Previous Year's MET Paper Analysis
According to students who attempted previous year's MET exam, overall paper was moderately difficult. Students found Mathematics as toughest section and most questions were lengthy and from both 11th and 12th class syllabus. Physics was moderate but questions were more numerical based and from 12th class. Chemistry was easy and most questions were from Organic Chemistry. As per MET exam previous year analysis, English was easy.

MAHE will release MET 2026 admit card for Phase 1 exam on April 10. Official MET 2026 hall ticket download link will be available at manipal.edu. To download admit card, candidates will have to log in using their application number and OTBS password. All candidates will have to complete their slot booking to download their MET admit card 2026. MAHE is also expected to send MET 2026 admit card download link to candidates through email.
Some important details that can be checked through MET admit card are allotted examination centre address, date, slot and guidelines. Candidates cannot raise requests to make changes to their allotted centres. At exam centre, they will have to bring their admit card along with one valid identity proof. If these documents are not shown at exam centre, then candidates will not be allowed to enter exam centre to attempt Manipal Entrance Test. For Phase 2 examination, candidates will be able to download their admit card on May 20, 2026.

In MET English section, students will be tested on their aptitude. In English section, students should prepare Grammar and Language Use, Vocabulary, Punctuation, and Reading Comprehension.
During MET slot booking, students have to book preferred exam slots. To book slots, they will have to log in with required details. Selection of exam slots has to be done according to preference.
For MET preparation, students should study from NCERT books and also use mock tests and sample papers.
MET 2026 seat allotment result dates will be announced soon. To check seat allotment, candidates will have to log in with required details. Allotment will be done according to candidate's rank and preferences. Separate allotment results will be released for different counselling rounds.
Candidates cannot edit or correct their details in MET application form. They should be careful while filling application form. In case of any problems, students should contact authorities.
MET admit card will be released online. If students find any mistakes in their admit card, they should contact authorities. Students cannot request to change their allotted exam centre or slot.

MET slot booking will be open online. If students forget to book exam slots before final date, then their slot will be automatically assigned by authorities. They cannot change their exam slots, once it is allotted.
MET question paper will consist of two types of questions. Students will have to answer Multiple Choice Questions and Numerical Answer Type Questions.
MET is an annual exam conducted in two sessions to select students for BTech admissions into its participating campuses. Students have to qualify the entrance exam to be eligible for admissions. One or both sessions of the entrance exam can be attempted.
The conducting authority of MET is the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). The information about the entrance exam will be officially announced by the MAHE authorities. Students have to stay updated with the announcements made at the official website.
As per MET eligibility criteria, students should have atleast 50 percent marks in 12th class examination. Students should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and one optional subject.
MET result will be released online. To check result, students will have to log in with email address and password. No other mode will be used to declare MET result.
After MET seat allotment, students will have to confirm their admission. Selected students will have to report to allotted institute to pay fee and verify their documents. If admission is not confirmed before final date, then it will be cancelled.
Students have to upload scanned photograph and signature in MET application form. Documents have to be uploaded correctly. If documents are not uploaded correctly, application form cannot be submitted.
MET mock test will be available for all students. For mock test, no login details will be needed. Mock test will be available online. Candidates can use mock test to prepare for examination.
