The National Law University has announced that all the seats for BA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses are now filled. As per the notification, the AILET 2025 Counselling will be resumed after May 15, 2025, if any seats are left vacant. 

AILET 2025 Counselling: The National Law University (NLU) Delhi in a notification announced that all the seats for BA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses have been filled after two rounds of AILET Counselling 2025. It must be noted that AILET Third Merit List 2025 was scheduled to be released on January 23, 2025.

However, with all seats filling up, the third round of AILET 2025 Counselling has been postponed. As per the notification, the AILET 2025 Counselling will be resumed after May 15, 2025, if any seats are left vacant. The university has seen an overwhelming response from applicants for both undergraduate and postgraduate law courses, with a record number of aspirants vying for a spot. The BA LLB (Hons) program, which is one of the most sought-after law degrees in India, offers a comprehensive curriculum that prepares students for a range of legal careers, while the LLM program provides specialised training for those wishing to deepen their legal expertise.

AILET 2025 Counselling Notification

The NLU Delhi has announced in the AILET 2025 Counselling notification that:

  • The only seats left vacant are for Foreign Nationals
  • All seats in BA LLB and LLM seats are now filled.
  • Candidates can apply for admission under the Foreign National Category until April 30,2025.
  • The AILET Third Merit List will be announced after May 15, 2025

 

Q: Β  What documents do I need to carry at AILET Exam centre?
A:

On the day of the exam, candidates must carry the following documents and items to the AILET centre:

  • AILET admit card: Since, it is a mandatory document to be carried to the test centre, candidates must carry their admit card as issued to them. Candidates without a valid admit card on the day of the exam will not be allowed to take it.
  • Photo ID proof: Along with the admit card, candidates must also carry an original photo ID proof issued by the Government of India. Documents that can be presented as an ID proof include PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card and Ration Card. 
  • Photo: Candidates should carry an attested passport size photograph  (the same as uploaded at the time of filling the application form). 
  • Stationary: Since the AILET 2024 is an offline exam, candidates must carry at least two good-quality ball-point pens of blue or black ink and an HB pencil to the test centre
  • Disability certificate: The certificate is mandatory for candidates who have applied under the Persons with Disability (PwD) category
  • Other items such as an analogue watch, transparent water bottle, face masks, gloves and hand sanitizer are also to be carried to the test centre.
