TS ICET 2023 Counselling Details to Release Soon

Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will soon release THE TS ICET 2023 counselling schedule. TS ICET counselling is the gateway to Telangana MBA admissions. TSCHE released the TS ICET results on June 29. In the previous admission session, TSCHE released the counselling details on September 27 for the results released on August 27. Therefore, candidates can expect the release of TS ICET web counselling details anytime soon. TSCHE notifies the TS ICET counselling dates on the official admission portal, tsicet.nic.in.

TSCHE conducts TS ICET counselling in multiple rounds depending upon the seat vacancy. As the first step of TS ICET online counselling, candidates have to complete the counselling registration and book slots for physical document verification. The document verification process will be conducted at regional centres chosen by the candidates while booking the slots.

Telangana MBA Admission: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates aspiring for admissions based on TSICET exam must fulfil the eligibility conditions mentioned in the admission brochure to appear for the exam. Additionally, candidates must meet the qualifying cutoff criteria of 25 per cent score to be eligible for the counselling process. Also, candidates must meet any specific MBA eligibility condition set by the desired institutes.

Candidates are eligible for admission based on TS ICET counselling if they fulfil the below-mentioned conditions:

  • Qualifying score: Candidates who belong to the general category must have secured 25 per cent marks in TS ICET. Reserved category candidates qualify, irrespective of their TS ICET score.
  • Nationality: Only Indian nationals are eligible
  • Domicile: Candidates must hold a local/non-local status from the state of Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh
  • Academic qualification: Candidates must hold any of the following three-year bachelor's degree to be eligible for MBA course admission:
    • BCA
    • B.Sc
    • B.Com
    • BA with Mathematics

As many as 61,092 candidates secured the minimum qualifying cutoff in the TS ICET 2023 exam. All the qualified candidates will be shortlisted for admission based on their rank, reservation policy, seat vacancy, and more. Candidates who are found ineligible in the later stages of the admission process will not get admission, irrespective of their TS ICET rank.
