Test-takers should take two printouts of their respective XAT admit card 2026. Check below, how to download the XAT hall ticket:

Click on download and save the admit card in PDF format
NOTE: The admit card will be available for download until the XAT 2026 exam day, but candidates must download their hall ticket as soon as it is released to avoid last minute hassles. The window to download the admit card will be closed after that. Also, digital copy of the XAT admit card will not be acceptable at any stage of admission.
XAT admit card download link remains active from the day of release until the exam day. So, candidates can download it anytime within that duration.
If you misplace your XAT admit card, you don’t need to panic. You can download another copy of the same from your XAT account. You can simply log in to your XAT account with application number and password to download it again. After downloading it, save it in a folder or in email so that you can take a print out anytime you want. The XAT admit card download link will be available for download till the exam day only so candidates must ensure that they have save a copy. If they need to download the XAT admit card after the exam for any reason, they will not be able to do it. Thus, they should save the PDT file of the XAT admit card in a folder or email.

Each candidate's XAT admit card 2026 will contain the following information:

At the examination centre, candidates will have to undergo identification process which will include frisking and examination of documents. Along with the two original copies of the XAT admit card with passport size photo affixed, candidates must carry any one of the following photo IDs:
Candidates must also carry a few copies of their passport size photo (preferably the same as uploaded in the XAT application form). PwD candidates must carry relevant certificates such as PwD affidavit and scribe certificate for appearing in the exam and availing the facilities provided to them.
In case a candidate is not carrying the relevant document, they will not be allowed to enter the examination centre. Candidates should thoroughly read exam related guidelines mentioned on the XAT admit card so that they don’t miss out on anything.
Yes, it is mandatory to paste a passport size photo on XAT admit card. Candidates will not be allowed to enter examination centre if the photo is missing from the admit card. They should paste the same photo as uploaded with application form.
XAT 2026 admit cards with mistake will not be accepted at valid ID proof at the XAT test centre. So, candidates must check for errors after downloading it:

There is no provision to change the test centre after the XAT admit card has been released. You can change your XAT test centre only once at the time of filling up the XAT application form. Once submitted, the XAT application form is not editable. There is no other way a candidate can change the test city option. They will have to appear for the exam in the city and at the test centre mentioned in their XAT admit card. They cannot even seek entry in another test centre for appearing in the exam. Insisting on doing so may get them disqualified.
Thus, candidates must fill the test city options in the XAT application form very carefully or arrange for travel and stay in the city where you have been allotted the exam centre.

XAT 2026 will be conducted at various examination centres in 109 cities across India. The exam will be conducted under strict vigilance and CCTV. There are certain guidelines that the candidates have to follow at the test centre. Listed below are some of the key XAT exam day guidelines.
The XAT admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the examination hall and must be presented for inspection by the invigilator. Digital or photocopy of the admit card will not be accepted.
One copy of the XAT admit card 2026 will have to be submitted to the invigilator and the second copy (signed by invigilator) will have to be retained by the candidate.
After taking the print outs of the XAT admit card, affix recent passport size photo in colour with preferable white background. The photo must be same as the one uploaded with the XAT application form 2026.
DO NOT sign the admit card beforehand. It has to be signed only in the presence of the invigilator, at the exam centre.
Candidates are advised to carry a secondary ID proof for identification purpose. Only the original copy of the photo ID will be accepted as valid. Digital or photo copy will not be accepted.
Watch and gadgets such as mobile phone, calculator, iPad and items having metal are not allowed inside the test centre premise.
XAT admit card is released in online mode at the xat online website. Candidates have to download it by using their login ID and password created at the time of form filling. The XAT admit card will be available for download till the exam day however, candidates must download a copy as soon as it is released.
Candidates should preferably preserve the XAT admit card even after the exam. As it can be asked as document of proof during admission process in a particular B-school. They should keep the XAT admit card (signed and stamped copy) safely until the admission process is completed.
On the exam day, candidates will be required to carry any one of the following ID proofs along with XAT 2026 admit card. Candidates are advised to carry both original and photocopy of the ID proof.

XAT admit card is not sent by post to any candidate. The hall ticket is uploaded in the candidate's XAT dashboard, from where they can download it through login. Candidates are advised to download their XAT admit card as soon as it is released so that they can check the details for error and test centre location.
