The Structural Engineering admission in India is mostly based on valid entrance exam scores. Structural Engineering courses after 12th provide the students with detailed knowledge of the importance of the strength and stability of built structures to make sure they are safe and functional enough to withstand any outside pressures.
In addition, for M Tech in Structural Engineering, students must have completed graduation in Structural Engineering or a related field with at least 55 percent marks. Mostly, the course is offered as a specialization within Civil Engineering at the PG level. The basic eligibility requirements require students to complete Class 12 in the Science stream with at least 50 to 60% marks in PCM subjects.
Some prominent Structural Engineering entrance tests in India are GATE for MTech courses. Other tests are CEETA PG, AP PGECET, MHTCET, etc.
