The MHT CET 2026 cutoff will be released after each round of counselling. Candidates can check the MHT CET cutoffs to know the last ranks at which admissions are offered at a particular institute for a particular course. The cutoffs will mention both the ranks and the corresponding percentile scores. Students will be able to check the MHT CET cutoff, round-wise on this page to know the branch-wise percentile scores for each participating college.
Students must note that there are two types of MHT CET cutoffs, All-India and the Maharashtra State Quota. Seats allotted under the All India category are denoted with 'AI', while admissions under the Maharashtra quota carry 'MH' ranks. The All India cutoffs will include the MHT CET cutoffs for based on the scores in MHT CET and JEE Mains.
Only those candidates whose ranks fall within the prescribed cutoff limits will be eligible for seat allotment through MHT CET counselling. Until the cutoffs are declared, check the previous years’ MHT CET cutoff to get an idea of the rank range required for admission. With 97.5 percentile in MHT-CET, you have a strong chance to get admission in reputed colleges like PICT Pune, VIT Pune, SPIT Mumbai, or Thakur College of Engineering for branches such as IT, ECE, or Electrical. COEP and VJTI may be difficult for CSE. Government colleges like WCE Sangli, SGGS Nanded, and GCOE Amravati are also good options. You can get preferred branches in private colleges and core branches in government ones. Your chances further improve if you belong to a reserved category or have home university advantage within Maharashtra.
For the General HS category, the cutoff ranged from 4.33 to 20.54 percentile for M.Tech course specialisations. Therefore, students need to attain at least 4.33 percentile for admissions at COEP Pune. MHT CET M.Tech percentiles are required for admission to M.Tech courses at COEP, Pune.
