AP ICET Counselling Dates 2026: The Department of Higher Education, Andhra Pradesh, has released AP ICET 2026 counselling dates. Candidates who passed the AP ICET 2026 exam with a rank are eligible to participate in the web counselling process. AP ICET 2026 counselling registration will start on August 24. As per the AP ICET phase 1 counselling dates, the last date to complete the registration process is August 31. All candidates who register are eligible for AP ICET certificate verification and the web options entry process. AP ICET seat allotment will be defined based on the options exercised, candidate's rank, and reservation policy. AP ICET seat allotment date is September 7, 2026.

AP ICET Counselling Dates 2026

The Department of Higher Education, Andhra Pradesh, conducts AP ICET counselling in multiple phases. AP ICET phase 1 counselling dates are tabulated below:

AP ICET 2026 Counselling Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfil the minimum academic and reservation criteria laid down by the Department of Higher Education, AP, to participate in the web counselling process:

• General Qualification: Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks for OC and 45 per cent for SC, ST, and BC candidates in the qualifying degree or its equivalent examination.
• Eligibility for MBA: Candidates must have passed any recognised degree of a minimum three-year duration. Qualifying degrees obtained via distance mode must have recognition from the joint committee of UGC, AICTE, and DEC/DEB.
• Eligibility for MCA: Candidates must have passed any graduation degree (such as B.E., B.Tech., B.Sc., B.Com., B.A., B.Voc., BCA, etc.) of a minimum three years' duration, preferably with Mathematics at the 10+2 level or at the graduation level.
• Nationality & Domicile: Candidates must be Indian Nationals and satisfy the local/non-local status requirements specified in the government orders of the Higher Education (EC) Department.
• Reservation of Seats: 85 per cent of the seats in each course are reserved for local candidates of Andhra Pradesh across Andhra University (AU) and Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) regions. The remaining 15 per cent are unreserved seats open to both local and non-local candidates.

Step-by-Step ICET Counselling Process 2026

AP ICET 2026 counselling process has multiple steps. The counselling process for APICET 2026 is mentioned below:

1. APICET Counselling Registration: Candidates are required to complete the AP ICET counselling registration by providing the following details:
   • Degree Board
   • Year of Passing
   • Entering the Degree Hall Ticket Number
   • Date of Birth
   • Aadhaar Number
   • Mobile Number to generate an OTP
2. AP ICET 2026 Counselling Fee Payment: Candidates need to log in with credentials sent to the registered mobile number, upload required documents in PDF format, and pay the processing fee online via credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI.
3. Online Certificate Verification: General category candidates get their documents verified online. The authorities at the selected Help Line Centres (HLC) verify the uploaded certificates online for all general category candidates.
4. Certificate verification at Help Line Centre: Candidates whose certificates are verified online but require data changes must visit a nearby HLC with original certificates and three sets of photocopies. Candidates whose status indicates they are not eligible after online verification must visit an HLC with originals and two sets of photocopies to resolve eligibility before exercising options. Special category candidates are also required to visit helpline centres for certificate verification.
5. Exercising AP ICET web options: Candidates who have completed the registration need to exercise web options for choosing college and course preferences. Candidates are advised to prepare a manual list of options on paper before entering them online and to select maximum choices to increase allotment chances.
6. Changing/finalising web options: Candidates can modify and finalise their options on September 3, 2026. If a candidate clicks the 'Freeze' button, the options are locked and cannot be edited further. All options will be automatically frozen on the scheduled date.
7. AP ICET 2026 Seat allotment: APSCHE releases AP ICET seat allotment results based on merit rank, category/quota reservations, and options exercised. Allotment results and allotment orders are published on https://cap.apcfss.in. Allotment information is also communicated via SMS to the registered mobile number.
8. Self-reporting and reporting at the allotted college: Candidates must complete online self-reporting through the portal and physically report in person at the allotted institution with the downloaded allotment order and self-joining report.

Candidates belonging to special categories need to appear for a physical certificate verification round. Candidates claiming reservation under PWD, NCC, Sports & Games, CAP, Scouts & Guides, and Anglo-Indian categories must physically attend verification. These candidates must carry all original certificates and four sets of photocopies at the designated single Help Line Centre at 9:00 AM.
