The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) will release the COMEDK UGET rank card online. No student will receive a hard copy of the COMEDK 2026 rank card either by email/ post/courier/ in person under any circumstances. Applicants will not be allowed to enter the counselling venue without a valid COMEDK rank card.

When two or more students secure equal marks then tie-breaking rule is used. In the COMEDK tie-breaking rule are:
- Priority is given to the student with a higher percentile in Physics and Mathematics
- Second preference is given to the student with a higher percentile in Mathematics
- Even if the tie exists, a student with a higher percentile in Chemistry is preferred.
- Finally, the preference will be given to the age. The older candidate will be the priority.
The COMEDK UGET score is valid for only 1 year.

In case two or more candidates score the same marks in the COMEDK UGET result, then the authorities will opt for a tie-breaking rule as mentioned below.
- Least negative responses (number of wrong answers) in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.
- Aggregate scores in Physics and Mathematics in the COMEDK UGET 2026 exam.
- Scores in Mathematics in the COMEDK 2026 exam.
- Age of the Candidate: The older candidate is ranked higher than the younger candidate.

COMEDK UGET Counselling 2026
The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka will conduct the COMEDK UGET 2026 counselling online. Candidates will be able to check the COMEDK counselling schedule online after the declaration of results. The counselling process comprises choice filling & locking, mock allotment, seat allotment, document verification and more. The authority will conduct the COMEDK UGET counselling for admission to engineering, architecture and medical colleges in Karnataka through COMEDK UGET, NATA and NEET scores.

There are two types of seat categories in COMEDK counselling 2025- GM and KKR. The government has reserved 70% of the seats in colleges located in Kalyana Karnataka area in favour of locals and 8% of the seats are reserved for locals of the Kalyana Karnataka Region located outside the said region. The Kalyana Karnataka Region comprises of Kalaburagi, Yadgir, Bidar, Koppal, Raichur, Ballari and Vijayanagara districts.
