The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the KCET 2025 Spot Rank List on June 2, 2025. Candidates who did not receive their rank can now check their rank on the official website. Check the expected counselling dates here. 

KCET 2025 Spot Rank List OUT: Counselling likely to start soon

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the KCET 2025 Spot Rank List on June 2, 2025. This list includes candidates who were previously unranked due to missing or incorrect qualifying examination details, such as 2nd PUC marks or registration numbers. Students who submitted revised marks or rectified discrepancies within the specified timeframe can now view their updated ranks on the official KEA website: cetonline.karnataka.gov.in

To check and access the KCET spot rank 2025 link, candidates need to log in using their KCET registration number and date of birth. The rank card will display the candidate's name, date of birth, subject-wise scores, total marks, and qualifying status. This update ensures that all eligible candidates are accurately ranked and can participate in the upcoming counselling process.

With the release of the spot rank list, the KCET 2025 counselling process is expected to commence shortly. Based on previous years' schedules, counselling is likely to begin in June 2025. The counselling process will involve several steps, including registration, document verification, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the allotted colleges. Candidates will be allotted seats based on their ranks, category, and course preferences.

Q: Β  How is seat allotment done in KCET counselling?
A:

Karnataka Examinations Authority conducts the KCET counselling in online mode. Applicants have to complete the choice filling and locking after a successful registration. Candidates have to fill preferred choices of colleges and courses at the time of choice filling of KCET counselling 2025. KEA allots seats during the counselling process as per the choices filled by the candidates. After mock allotment, candidates are given chance to change their choice preference. After seat allotment results of KCET, candidates will be provided three options of freeze float and side. 

Q: Β  How many rounds of KCET counselling will be held?
A:

KCET UGCET counseling is generally conducted in three grounds. KEA will first release the KCET mock seat allotment result after the conclusion of the choice-filling process. The first two grounds of KCET 2024 counseling will be conducted for birth general merit and Hyderabad Karnataka region candidates. However round 3 or round 2 extended will be conducted as per the availability of seats. Candidates have to complete the KCET counseling registration as per the schedule. Only successfully registered candidates will be allowed to participate in the KCET 2025 extended round counseling.  

Q: Β  What is the total number of participating institutes for KCET counselling?
A:

There are around 250 colleges that offer admissions to engineering and architecture courses. There are both morning and evening shifts colleges. Applicants have to fill in the college and course choices at the time of KCET option entry facility. The admissions to architecture colleges will be done on the basis of NATA score 2025 while engineering admissions will be done on KCET 2025 score only. they took kea ph verification and I went they observed and they said the results will be alloted on 10 june 2025 and today is 11 already I didnt get any results can u please checkout
