SRMJEEE 2027: Exam Dates, Registration, Syllabus, Pattern, Question Papers

SRMJEEE is the entrance exam conducted to shortlist candidates for admission to B.Tech courses at SRMIST campuses located in Chennai (Kattankulathur, Vada Palani, Rama Puram, Tiruchirappalli), Delhi NCR (Ghaziabad, UP), SRM University - Sonipat (Haryana), and SRM University, AP (Andhra Pradesh).

The exam tests candidates skills in Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology, Aptitude, and English. SRMJEEE is conducted as a remote-proctored test which candidates can take from home or any computer centre. Admission is offered on SRMJEEE ranks and seat availability.

Direct Admission to SRM

To encourage and support students of exemplary talent, SRM Institute of Science and Technology and other SRM campuses offers direct admission (exemption from SRMJEEE test) and scholarships to first-rank students of all the central and state boards in India, top 10,000 rankers in IIT JEE, top rankers in each district of Tamil Nadu and exemplary sports persons at National and International level.

SRMJEEE Scholarships

The SRM University scholarship policy considers SRMJEEE ranks, JEE Main ranks, and board exam performances to determine eligibility for scholarships, which can cover up to 100% of tuition fees, application fees, and registration fees. Scholarships like the Founder’s Scholarship and SRM Merit Scholarship are awarded based on performance in the SRMJEEE and other criteria. Scholarships are available to SRMJEEE rank holders up to rank 30,000.

Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before filling the SRMJEEE application form 2027. As per the details mentioned in SRM official website, candidates interested in applying for SRMJEEE 2027 need to fulfilling the below-mentioned conditions

• Must be resident Indian. Candidates who are NRI/PIO/OCI have to apply under International Portal separately.
• Attained age of 16 years, 6 months by July 31, 2027
• Passed class 12 exam with minimum 60% aggregate marks/appearing in 2027
• Must have Physics and Math as compulsory subjects and any one among Chemistry/Biotechnology/IT in class 12
• Students who have completed/appearing in class 12 exam from NIOS must have passed class 10 from a regular schooling

Note: Candidates who have not studied Chemistry in class 12 will have to undergo a mandatory bridge course in chemistry in first year

The Application form for SRMJEEE 2027 will be available online only. To fill the form, students have to first register at the institute website, followed by filling the detailed application form, uploading required documents and payment of SRMJEEE application fee. Candidates can fill SRMJEEE application form using the instructions given below:

1. Open SRMJEEE website or click on the link provided in this page
2. Register by filling basic personal information like name, email address, phone number, gender etc.
3. Verification mail will be sent to the email ID provided
4. Verify the email ID and proceed to fill the application form
5. Upload the required documents
6. Pay the SRMJEEE application fee

While filling the online application form, candidates will have to upload the following scanned images:

• Photograph Image: Size should be 200 x 230 pixels, 5 MB
• Signature Image: Size should be 140 x 60 pixels, 5 MB

After the successful submission of the application form, an application number will be generated. Save that number for future reference and communications. Candidates will also recieve the filled form pdf in their email.

Candidates must note that the course/campus preference selected at the time of application is only for statistical purposes, the actual course preference can be selected at the time of counselling based on SRMJEEE - All India Rank and availability of seats.

The official syllabus for SRMJEEE 2027 is yet to be released. The topics covered in SRMJEEE exam do not change every year thus, candidates can study for the exam using the previous year syllabus available in this page or the official website until the SRMJEEE 2027 syllabus is released. The SRMJEEE syllabus includes class 11 and 12 topics are from Maths/ Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Aptitude, and English.

High Weightage Topics for SRMJEEE 2027

The SRMJEEE 2027 exam will be conducted in remote-proctored manner, which candidates can appear from their home or any place of their choice. SRMJEEE is held as a remote proctored test and the official question papers are not released by the institute. However, candidates can download the sample papers to prepare for the exam. To ensure that the candidates get familiar with the setup for taking online exams at home and to get comfortable with the exam interface, mock exams are facilitated before each phase. It is suggested that the candidates take the mock exams as scheduled and be prepared for the final examination.
