SRMJEEE 2026 Counselling: The counselling for admission to all SRM campuses will be organised by SRMIST. The counselling will be conducted separately for all three exam phases. The schedule of SRMJEEE counselling 2026 will be announced in the institiute website after the result are announced.

All candidates who qualify SRMJEEE 2026 will have to register online to participate in the counselling. The counselling process of SRMJEEE includes choice filling, seat acceptance, seat allotment, issuance of provisional admission letter (PAL), and tuition fee payment. For online counselling, students will be informed through email or text messages.

Candidates will be provided here the SRMJEEE counselling 2026 link once the reistration start. Candidates will have to fill all the personal and educational details in counselling registration form, similar to filled during application process. During counselling registration, candidates also have to fill choices of preferred institute campus and course. The seats will be allotted as per the candidate's score in SRMJEEE and choices filled by candidate.

Q:   What are the past year cut off patterns of SRMJEEE?
A: 

SRMJEEE cut off varies college wise and course wise. For example - In 2020 students who obtained marks above 250 had an expected rank range below 2000, while those who obtained marks between 230-250 had an expected rank range of 2001-5000 etc. Similarly marks reduced, their rankings to be reduced. Top ranked students received best college and course which they applied during their choice filling.

Q:   When will the SRMJEEE result be declared?
A: 

As of now there are no dates as to when the SRMJEEE result will be declared. However, the results are generally declared after the exam is successfully conducted for the specific phase.

SRMJEEE Counselling Process 2026

The SRMJEEE counselling process has the following steps:

1) Login on the URL: Students qualified in the exam as per the result must log in to application URL through via applications.srmist.edu.in/btech

2) Rank card download: Download rank card through mentioned online admission portal (OAP).

3) Educational detail filling: Fill in educational details.

4) Choice filling (Program Selection): The Online Admission Portal (OAP) will be kept open to fill choice of campus and programme preference.

5) Programme allocation:  The admission committee will allot choice of campus, programme and specialisation based on admission criteria such as SRM Joint Entrance Examination Rank, Qualifying Examination, etc. The programme allotment will be published in the Online Admission Portal (OAP).

6) Accept Allocation and Payment (Only for allotted Students): Students have to accept allotment and have to pay one-time non-refundable and non-transferrable registration fee and counselling fee (part of the tuition fee). Online payment details will be updated shortly.

7) Provisional Allotment letter downloads: Upon payment of registration fee and counselling fee, a Provisional allotment letter and a fee receipt will be issued. Failure to pay counselling fee within stipulated time will lead to cancellation of allotment.

8) Payment of balance tuition fee and online enrolment: Pay balance tuition fee before mentioned date and proceed with online enrolment.

  • Satisfying minimum eligibility criteria as stipulated by respective institutions
  • All India Rank of the candidate
  • Production of all original certificates and other documents listed below for verification

Q:   Are there any scholarships in the SRMJEEE exam?
A: 

Yes, there is a scholarship provision in the SRMJEEE exam. They have also mentioned this in their official website. As per the scholarships, there is a 25 to 100 percent scholarship available for students. The scholarship differs based on rank based on merit as well as founder's scholarships. For detailed scholarships, students can visit the official website of SRMIST.

Q:   What is course fee for BTech course in SRMJEEE?
A: 

SRMJEEE course fees vary as per the course candidates join, for example, if you get selected for B.Tech course from Delhi-NCR, your fees will range from 7 to 12 lakh. You can add another 4-5 Lacs for hostel charges. The fees also depend on specialisation of course as well as branch.

Q:   What is the SRMJEEE admission process?
A: 

As per the SRMJEEE admisison process, first students must visit official website - applications.srmist.edu.in/btech. Fill in the application form, pay application fee and download the admit card to appear in the exam in home based proctored mode. 

After that, results are declared and candidates qualified in the exam will have to appear for the counselling process, post which they will be allotted the courses and the colleges.

The difficulty level of Physics section in SRMJEEE is similar to class 11 and 12 exam. Students can score good marks in SRMJEEE by studying trough NCERT class 11 and 12 books of Physics.

As per the details available in the information brochure, SRMJEEE 2026 will have a total 130 questions, 35 each from Physics and Chemistry, 40 from Mathematics and 20 from English & Aptitude.

The application fees of SRM for international applicants is USD 50 $. It must be noted that NR or PIO card holder need not appear in SRMJEEE. They just need to fill the application form and the selection will be based in qualifying exam scores.

No, it is not mandatory to appear in all three phases of SRMJEEE. Candidates can appear in any one, two or all three phases, depending on their choice. If candidates appear in more than one phase, the best of all attempted score will be considered for admission.
