CLAT does not publish a fixed number for this topic. The UG exam is largely passage and data-based. The topic is tested indirectly within the wider Quantitative Techniques section.

Learn key conversions first. Practise remaining-quantity and multi-step questions daily. Solve common-data caselets regularly. Review calculation shortcuts too.

There is no single fixed book for this topic. Students usually rely on standard quantitative aptitude books. Combine this with regular practice sets and previous year papers to build accuracy.

Students should start early in their Quantitative Techniques preparation. Strong calculation basics make conversions, remaining-quantity questions and caselets easier later.

Fractions and decimals are not a separate section in CLAT's current UG format. But the calculation skills support most Quantitative Techniques questions. Skipping this topic is not advisable. It forms the base for ratios, percentages and data-based calculations.

There is no single fixed book. Most students use standard Class 10 maths books. They combine this with CLAT-specific practice sets and previous year papers.
