The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is holding the PGCET 2024 exam today, September 18th, for MTech, ME, MArch, and MPlan programs. The exam will take place from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

Applicants who haven't downloaded the Karnataka PGCET admit cards yet can do so from the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. A physical copy of the Karnataka PGCET hall ticket is mandatory to enter the exam hall.

The PGCET exam to be held today will consist of 100 questions to be answered within 120 minutes.

Karnataka PGCET 2024 Bell Timings for MTech Exam

The table below mentions the PGCET bell timings for ME, MTech, MArch, and MPlan exam to be held today from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM:

Candidates can enter the exam hall and occupy seats after showing the PGCET hall tickets.

The fourth bell indicates that one hour has been completed for the PGCET exam.

The fifth bell indicates that only 30 minutes are remaining for the exam to conclude.

Sixth bell is the caution bell indicating only five minutes are remaining for the exam to conclude.

4:30 PM

The last bell, i.e. the seventh bell indicates that the exam has concluded. Invigilators must ensure that the test taker has stopped answering the question as soon as the bell is rung.

Karnataka PGCET Exam Day Guidelines 2024

To appear for the Karnataka PGCET exam, candidates must abide by the following rules and guidelines laid down by KEA for seamless examination process:

  • Candidates must carry a hard copy of their PGCET hall ticket and a valid photo ID proof to the exam centre.
  • To avoid last-minute hassles, candidates must arrive at the exam centre before the specified reporting time.
  • No electronic devices, eatables, or stationery items are allowed inside the exam hall.
  • Candidates must abide by the PGCET dress code issued by KEA on the official website.
  • No candidates will be allowed to leave the test centre before the exam concludes.

Once the Karnataka PGCET exam concludes, KEA will allow candidates to exit the test centre with PGCET MTech question booklet and a copy of their OMR sheets.

Yes, KEA has released the Karnataka PGCET exam schedule on its official website. Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) releases the Karnataka PGCET exam dates along with the event schedule. KEA conducted the Karnataka PGCET 2023 exam for admission to MBA/MCA, MTech, and March courses offered by colleges in Karnataka. The exam was conducted on September 23 for Engineering courses and on September 24 for MBA and MCA courses. Candidates could download the answer key soon after the exam was conducted.

The exam for all the courses was conducted in an offline mode at test cities situated across Karnataka. Candidates had to mark the answers in an OMR sheet. Irrespective of the course, Karnataka PGCET exam had as many as 100 multiple-choice questions.

The exam for Engineering courses was conducted on September 23. While the Karnataka PGCET exam for MBA and MCA courses was conducted on September 24.
