JEE Main 2019 official answer keys were released on January 15. NTA, the exam conducting authority, published the official question papers of JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 and Paper 2 along with the recorded responses of candidates on January 14 on the exam website. Contrary to 2018, candidates who appeared for JEE Main 2019, would only be able to view their respective recorded responses along with answer keys of the 90 questions they answered in the exam. To calculate JEE Main marks using the official answer keys of JEE Main 2019, aspirants will have to follow the given below steps:
- Download the JEE Main 2019 official answer keys from the website
- Compare your recorded responses to the answer keys given by NTA
- Refer to the marking scheme of JEE Main 2019 to calculate your expected score
- According to JEE Main marking scheme, for every correct response, a candidate will be awarded 4 marks, while 1 mark will be deducted for any question answered incorrectly. No marks will be awarded or deducted for un-attempted questions. All you have to do is apply the formula below:
(Total number of correct answers X 4) – (Total number of incorrect responses X 1) = Expected score in JEE Main 2019
5. The total mark calculated would be your probable JEE Main 2019 score.
Note: In JEE Main 2019, each candidate got the same question paper but the sequence of questions were different. Interestingly, the multiple choices/options given against each of the questions were jumbled too. Also, this year, both - the questions as well as the answers/answer key have IDs which was not the case in 2018. So, even though you might have appeared for the exam on the same day and same session as your peer, your answer keys might be completely different. Thus, stick to your own question paper, question IDs and Answer Key IDs. Do not rely or compare your JEE Main question paper to the question papers of other candidates.

No, your rank does not change your fees. Merit ranks generated via the JEE Main entrance exam are exclusively used to determine branch selection and seat eligibility during allocation. Once admitted, your tuition fee relies entirely on government social category waivers and annual family income slab

YES. Galgotias University accepts JEE Main and CUET scores for B.Tech admissions and gives preference to candidates with these scores in the merit list. Students also need to meet the required Class 12 eligibility criteria for their chosen B.Tech program.
