NO, it is compulsory to attempt all questions in the JEE Main exam. The JEE Main exam has negative marking and candidates must answer only those questions for which they know the correct answer. Students must note that there are no minimum marks in JEE Main that students need to score. Students gets All India Rank based on the marks they secure in exam and gets admission based on that rank.
There are two question types in JEE Main exam. Multiple choice questions and numerical ability questions. In MCQ, every question has 4 options with only 1 correct answer. Select the correct option. It is advised that students should solve at least previous 10 year question papers of JEE Main. However, the exam pattern as well as difficulty level of JEE Mains has underwent a lot of changes during the last 10 years but still solving previous year JEE Main question papers from last 10 years will definitely help in scoring the good marks in the exam. As new type of questions (Questions with Numerical Value Answer) were intrduced recently, students are advised to practice solving these type of questions to help solve it during the actual exam.

- Chemistry the high weightage topics are s and p block elements, Coordination compounds, Thermodynamics Gaseous state, Chemical bonding, Atomic structure, Polymers, Environmental Chemistry Organic Chemistry.
- Mathematics, the high weightage topics are Sequence and Series Vectors and 3D, Integral and Differential Calculus, Definite and Indefinite Integral.

To calculate the score using JEE Main answer key 2022, candidates can check the steps below:
Step 1: Open the answer key and check the number of correct and wrong answers.
Step 2: No count the number of correct and wrong answers.

Official JEE Main 2022 Answer Key
A few days after the exam is over, candidates can check the JEE Main official answer key. The official answer key is made available on the official website for all days and shifts. JEE Main answer key contains the correct answer to all questions asked in the exam. The official answer keys and question papers of JEE Main are made available under the respective logins of the candidates.
Official JEE Main 2022 answer keys are also available for challenge. Challenging the answer key can be done online on the official website. After the scrutiny of the challenges received, NTA releases the final JEE Main answer key with changes, if any. The final answer key cannot be challenged further. Based on the answers in the final answer key, the JEE Main result is prepared.

JEE Main 2022 Cutoff
JEE Main 2022 cutoff means the minimum marks candidates need to obtain to sit for JEE Advanced. NAT release this cutoff after the final session of JEE Main 2022 is over. The cutoff marks vary category-wise. The cutoff marks will be the minimum percentile marks needed. This year the top 2,50,000 candidates in JEE Main 2022, will be able to register for JEE Advanced.
JEE Main 2022 Result
JEE Main 2022 result will be announced by NTA on its official website. JEE Main result 2022 will contain the name of appeared candidates, marks obtained and rank secured in the entrance test etc. Aspirants can download JEE Main 2022 scorecard by entering their application number and date of birth/password on the login window. The rank cards are prepared on the basis of the normalised marks secured in JEE Main exam.
Note that the All India Rank of the candidates will be based on the best performance of the candidates out of both sessions. Therefore the AIR will be available after the July sessions exams end with the final result.

- Paste a photo (same as the one uploaded in the online form before reaching the exam centre).
