Q: Can I get an UNI-GAUGE examination centre of my choice?

You can choose the Test City from the available list of test cities in the online application form. The test cities are allotted to candidates on first come first serve basis. However, ERA Foundation reserves the right to allot any other test city other than the city chosen by the candidate. Each city can have one or more centers. The allocation of centers is done through a computer assisted randomization/optimization process. The allocated centre will be communicated on the online test admission ticket (online TAT).

Q: How will I know the Uni-GAUGE exam centre allotted to me?

Uni-GAUGE exam centre will be allotted along with the admit card. Candidates are advised to check the admit card to know about the exam centre and other crucial details. Apart from name and address of allotted Uni-GAUGE exam centre, the admit card comprises details such as exam date, timing, exam day guidelines etc. Date for admit card release is published along with the information brochure on the official website. Candidates have to download the admit card for Uni-GAUGE after logging and providing details such as Uni-GAUGE application ID and password.

Q: Can I carry the soft copy of the Uni-GAUGE admit card instead of the hard copy?

No, only the hard copy of the Uni-GAUGE admit card is acceptable at the exam hall. Soft copy will not be accepted. Candidates must download the Uni-GAUGE admit card and take its print. To download the Uni-GAUGE admit card, candidates have to visit the official website of the exam. Navigate to the View and Print option, and click on ‘Print hall ticket'. Enter the required details to login. After entering the details, hit the ‘Print hall ticket' button. Uni-GAUGE hall ticket will be displayed on the screen. Download and take a printout for reference.

Q: If I opt for both COMEDK UGET and Uni-GAUGE E what will be the exam and counselling process?

Q: Does ERA Foundation send a hard copy of the Uni-GAUGE score card to the candidates?

No. Uni-GAUGE scorecards have to be downloaded and printed from the official website. Scorecards copies will NOT be dispatched. Candidates must log in using their application number/seq number and password to check the result of Uni-GAUGE. The scores and ranks secured in the examination are released through Uni-GAUGE results. Candidates will be required to apply to their preferred participating member University/institution with their test scores once the member University/institution issues notifications. In case of a tie in test scores, the same will be resolved by the criteria pre-published by the Universities/Institutions as part of their admission process.

Q: If COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE are held as the same exam then why are there 2 separate scorecards?

Here is the deal: Both COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE are the same exams. No 2 seperate exam are held. But, 2 seperate scorecards come out at the time of result announcemnet. This is because the COMEDK UGET scorecard is accepted by COMEDK particiapting colleges that are primaraly from South India. While the Uni-GAUGE scorecard is accepted by colleges across India. Candidates are encouraged to apply for both Uni-GAUGE and COMEDK, because there scope of college choices inscreases. Candidates can apply for admission in both COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE participating colleges.

Q: When will the Uni-GAUGE application form correction start?

Uni-GAUGE 2026 application form correction dates will be available with the schedule of Uni-GAUGE 2026. The registered candidates who have made any mistake in the form or wish to change any detail in the submitted online form, can access the form correction window before the deadline to make changes/correction in the Uni-GAUGE application form.

Q: I cannot view the 'submit' or 'Save' button in the online Uni-GAUGE application form, what to do now?

In this case, please check the version of browser that you are currently using. Kindly use Explorer (version 10 and above) or Mozilla Firefox (48 and above) or Google Chrome (50 and above) to fill in the Uni-GAUGE application Form. Also clear your browsing history and cache and retry. Or candidates can minimize the browser window and check for the 'submit' or 'Save' button. To minimize use "ctrl+-" keys.

Q: I realized that I made an error while filling the Uni-GAUGE application form. What do I do?

If you have not clicked on the “Submit” Button, you can edit the Uni-GAUGE application form any number of times. However information provided at the time of registration cannot be changed later on. If you have already completed your online application form and have submitted the form online, then no changes can be made. You have the option to fill a new application form with an alternate email id. However please note that fee once paid is non-refundable. Hence candidates are advised to review all information in application form before clicking on “submit” button.

Q: Which form do I need to fill for COMEDK among UGET and Uni-GAUGE or both?

It is upto you. One single form is released for both the exams. Candidates can select in the online form, that whether they want to appear in both COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE exam, or in any one of them. Both the exams are held at national level, however, COMEDK scores are accepted by colleges across South India. But, Uni-GAUGE scores are accepted by colleges across India.

Uni-GAUGE 2026: The Era Foundation will release the Uni-GAUGE 2026 exam date and complete schedule at unigauge.com. The Uni-GAUFE exam is held with the COMEDK UGET exam. However, the rank cards are separate for both exams. With Uni-GAUGE 2026 scores, candidates can apply for Engineering Courses like BE / B.Tech in Uni-GAUGE member universities.

The Uni-GAUGE 2026 exam registration is expected to start in February 2026, and Uni-GAUGE 2026 exam is expected to be held in May 2026. The complete Uni-GAUGE 2026 dates will be available on the official website in the coming days.

What is Uni-GAUGE?

Uni-GAUGE is a national-level common entrance exam for the 40+ participating institutes of the ERA Foundation. The exam is held in computer-based test mode for admission to BE/BTech courses offered across the 40+ institutes. The exam is held at the national level, and the 10+2 passed/appearing candidates can take it. COMEDK UGET and Uni-GAUGE E are conducted as a combined exam. The candidates who take the exam have to further apply separately with their Uni-GAUGE scorecard to individual member universities of ERA Foundation. Counselling is held separately by individual Universities.

Uni-GAUGE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the Uni-GAUGE exam, candidates must check the eligibility criteria carefully. The criteria are given below:

Qualifying exam: The qualifying examination prescribed for admission for BE/BTech is the second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by the State / Central Government.

Subject studied in 10+2: The last two years of study shall comprise Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, (Biology or Bio-technology instead of chemistry for BE/B.Tech and Bio-Technology) or any other technical vocational courses as one of the optional subjects, with English as a compulsory subject.

Score in the qualifying exam: The General Merit candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology or any other technical vocational courses as the optional subjects.

Year of passing the qualifying exam: To apply for Uni-GAUGE 2026, candidates must pass the qualifying exam in 2026.

Note: Candidates who were caught attempting to impersonate or found following/adopting any malpractice earlier including entertaining touts or agents.

Uni-GAUGE 2026 Registration

The application process for Uni-GAUGE is as follows:

Step 1: Fill in candidate details in the registration form.
Step 2: Generate and validate OTP for the registered mobile number.
Step 3: Click on register and complete the candidate registration.
Step 4: Receive SMS & E-mail with User ID/App no and Password.
Step 5: Log out and log in Again using User ID & Password Click on 'Go to application'.
Step 6: Select the exam that you are applying for.
Step 7: Enter your personal details.
Step 8: Fill in category details.
Step 9: Fill in academic details and upload documents in the prescribed format and size as mentioned in the exam brochure.
Step 10: Fill in the examination city preferences and select payment details.
Step 11: Verify all details on the "Preview" Page.

Uni-GAUGE 2026 Admit Card

The online Uni-GAUGE 2026 admit card is made available under the applicant login of the Uni-GAUGE website. Candidates appearing for the Test should download and obtain a printout of the admit card. No admit card is dispatched either by email, post or courier or in person to the candidates under any circumstances.

Candidates are not allowed to take the Uni-GAUGE 2026 exam without the printout of the admit card along with other documents indicated thereon. Also, candidates have to retain the admit card for counselling until the completion of the admission process. Also, candidates have to ensure that the invigilator signs the admit card of the candidates.

Uni-GAUGE 2026 Answer Key

The Uni-GAUGE answer key is released on the official website which has the correct answer to all questions asked in the exam. To challenge the Uni-GAUGE 2026 answer key candidates have to access the applicant to login using his/ her user ID and password and fill the query in the challenge form. While challenging, candidates have to indicate the grievance and with all necessary enclosures.

Uni-GAUGE 2026 answer key challenge fee: Clarification regarding the provisional answer key should be submitted online in the format made available with a fee of INR 500 per clarification. Only if the clarification sought is upheld, the money would be refunded in full after the Uni-GAUGE E-2026 process is completed. Any request for clarification of provisional answer keys beyond the last date as stipulated in the calendar of events will not be entertained.

Note: Seeking clarification as above is only for provisional answer keys. Such clarifications are not entertained for the Final answer keys/Test Scores and thereafter the Rank. Any verifications/clarifications sought by the applicants will be put forth to the UNI-GAUGE’s Academic Committee for their consideration and the decision given by the committee shall be final and binding on all.
