The NLU Delhi conducts the AILET exam for admission to the 5-year LLB and LLM courses at the institute. Candidates who wish to sit for this entrance exam must apply for the test on or before the last date. The official website to apply for the entrance exam is nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Check the page given below for AILET 2026 application, exam dates, exam centres, eligibility, exam pattern, books, etc. The admit card will also be issued to the registered candidates a few days before the exam. 

NLU Delhi will conduct the AILET PG 2026 exam on the same day for admission to LLM program along with the AILET UG 2026 exam.

Candidates aspiring to participate in the AILET 2026 exam can visit the NLU Delhi official website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The AILET exam will be conducted for admission to both UG and PG courses. 

Steps to Fill AILET 2026 Application Form

Candidates aspiring to apply for the AILET exam may refer to the steps given below to fill out the application form for AILET exam: 

  • Visit the NLU Delhi official website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
  • Now click on the 'Register' tab and a new webpage will appear.
  • Candidates will be asked to enter the important information including, Name, Gender, Communication details, Email ID, Date of Birth, Category, etc.
  • Once the details are submitted, upload the scanned photograph and signature.
  • After the submission of all the details, create your profile.
  • Login using the registered email ID and password and complete the application form.
  • Check the application form for the correctness of information entered.
  • Pay the application fee, once the form is completely filled.
  • Download the AILET application form as a PDF for future reference.

AILET BA LLB Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates can check the AILET BA LLB Eligibility Criteria in the table given below:

Educational Qualifications
  • Candidates must have passed their class 12 exams with minimum 45% scores from a recognized institute.
  • SC/ST/PwD candidates must score a minimum 40% aggregate score in their class 12.
  • The minimum qualifying marks for OBC candidates in Class 12 is 42%.
  • Candidates who are appearing for their class 12 exams are also eligible to appear for the AILET exam.

Age Limit
  • There is no age limit to take up the AILET exam.

AILET LLM Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates can check the AILET PG Eligibility Criteria 2026 in the table given below:

  • Candidates must have attained their LLB degree or an equivalent law degree minimum 50% scores from a recognized institute.
  • SC/ST/PwD candidates must score a minimum 44% aggregate score in their LLB course.
  • Candidates who are appearing for their final year/semester of their LLB programme are also eligible to appear for the AILET exam.

Age Limit
  • There is no age limit to take up the AILET exam.

AILET 2026 Question Paper

The AILET question papers and sample papers are important during exam preparation. Practicing the question papers of AILET will help to increase their paper-solving efficiency and speed. This will also help to understand the exam structure and the kind of questions asked in the exam. 

The question paper for BA LLB will have 150 multiple-choice questions, and 100 questions will be asked in AILET PG. These will be 1 mark for each correct answer and 0.25 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

The admit card of AILET 2026 is the most important document to appear in the AILET exam 2026.

How to Download AILET Admit Card 2026?

To download the AILET hall ticket, candidates have to follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of NLU Delhi 

Step 2: Click on the AILET Admissions button.

Step 3: Click on the 'Already Registered? Login' button.

Step 3: On the login window enter your Application number and Password.

Step 4: Click on Login button.

Step 5: View, download, save and print the AILET admit card.

Note: Candidates should proceed to download the admit card in colour print (if black and white, then it should mention test centre details and candidates photograph clearly). Also, candidates should get extra printouts of the admit card to be on a safer side in case they misplace it.

NLU Delhi will release the answer key for AILET 2026 on the official AILET 2026 website - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The answer key of AILET exam are published in two modes - Provisional answer key and Final answer key. First, the exam authority publishes provisional answer keys for AILET BA LLB and LLM separately. The provisional answer key indicates correct options against each question. Moreover, candidates can raise objections on the provisional answer key in case there are any discrepancies on it. Thereafter, the final answer key for AILET was published with revised answers based on the objections submitted by candidates against the provisional answer key. The process of answer key verification helps in: 

  • Cross-checking the question paper and answer key before the results are prepared.

  • Estimating scores of candidates.

  • Effecting the cutoff marks of AILET exam
