CAT Test Centres: Key Points
- CAT 2021 will be conducted in 159 cities across India. Candidates have to select six cities in order of preference from one to six.
- CAT test city and centre will be allotted basis availability of seats and the right to allot or cancel a test centres remains with the exam conducting body.
- Cities once selected cannot be changed. The candidates will have to make arrangement for stay in the test city on their own.
- The CAT exam centre venue will be mentioned on the CAT admit card only.

CAT Form Correction
The examination authorities provide candidates a chance to edit their CAT application forms after the registration process concludes. The window to edit application forms will be opened for three to four days during which candidates could edit a few fields such as photo, signature and test city preference selected and upload a new photo.

A: CAT application fee for General category students in Rs 2,200 and for SC/ST candidates it is Rs 1,100. The fees has been increased this year by 10 per cent.
Q: Is CAT application fee refundable?
A: No, the CAT application fee is non-refundable. Candidate cannot apply for fee refund and there is no policy of CAT fee refund under any circumstances.
Q: If I make a mistake in CAT application form, can I correct it after submission?
A: After submission, CAT forms can be edited only through form correction process which is of two-three days duration. Only certain details mentioned in the form can be edited. Thus, it is better to submit error free form in the first attempt.
Q: Do I need to upload any document along with CAT application form?
A: Yes, the candidates have to upload Caste/PwD certificate (if applicable), a passport size photograph and scanned signature along with the CAT application form.
