COMEDK Counselling 2024: The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has announced the round 2 phase 2 COMEDK counselling schedule today. As per the released date, candidates can edit their choices from August 3 to 5, 2024 by 2 PM. Based on the choices filled and edited, the COMEDK 2024 seat allotment result will be announced on August 7.

Candidates can check the steps provided below to know how to edit COMEDK choices online by visiting the official website:

Step 1: Go to the official website: comedk.org

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the applicant login tab

Step 3: Enter application sequence number and password

Step 4: Make the necessary changes in COMEDK choices

Step 5: Now, submit the details

Those selected through COMEDK counselling seat allotment in round 2 phase 2 can pay the fee till August 12, 2024. Those accepting their allotted seats through COMEDK round 2 phase 2 seat allotment must report to their respective colleges from August 7 to 12, 2024.

Q:   When will the registration for COMEDK counselling start?
A:

The consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka started the COMEDK UGET counselling 2025 process at the official website from June 9 to 18. The last date for document verification was July 12. Applicants first had to complete the COMEDK UGET counselling registration 2025 using personal details. After successful registration, candidates have to pay the COMEDK counselling 2025 fee online. The next step after fee payment is uploading documents as per the specifications mentioned in the official notification. 

Q:   How many rounds of COMEDK counselling will be there?
A:

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka will conduct four rounds of COMEDK UGET counselling 2025. Applicants declared qualified are eligible to participate in the COMEDK counselling process 2025. Round 1 of COMEDK counselling 2025 is conducted for both general merit and Hyderabad Karnataka region candidates. However, round 2 is conducted for Hyderabad Karnataka region students only. COMEDK counselling rounds 3 and 4 are conducted for general merit candidates. 

Q:   Who is eligible to participate in COMEDK counselling process?
A:

Candidates appearing in the COMEDK UGET counselling 2025 are advised to check the eligibility criteria before registration. The exam authority mentions the COMEDK UGET counselling eligibility criteria in the official notification. Candidates can refer to the COMEDK UGET counselling eligibility conditions below.

  1. Candidates with COMEDK Engineering Entrance Exam Rank Card 2025.
  2. Have passed 12th equivalent examination with English as one of the languages, Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Electronics/ Computer Science. The General Merit candidates should have passed 12th examination with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics and should have passed these subjects individually.
  3. Candidates who are ready to pay the entire college fee at COMEDK level after the allotment of seats.
  4. Applicants having all mandatory documents to prove eligibility, scanned and ready to upload since their candidature is subject to successful verification of the same and approval.
