The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has reactivated the KCET 2025 marks entry link portal for candidates who did not receive their KCET rank 2025 due to the wrong entry of the 2nd PUC marks during the mark entry link. KCET Marks Entry Portal Reopens: Will It Impact the Ranks of Other Candidates?

The Karnataka Examinations Authority has activated the KCET marks entry 2025 portal for students who did not receive their KCET rank due to wrong entry or did not receive their class 12 marks for some reason. This initiative, taken by KEA, aims to ensure that all eligible candidates get a fair chance at ranking and participating in the KCET counselling process, which is likely to start in June 2025.

However, the decision has raised concerns among other candidates, particularly those who had already submitted their ranks within their original deadline. Many students are questioning whether this late inclusion of marks will alter the existing KCET 2025 merit list or impact their rank

KEA officials have stated that all newly submitted marks will be verified before inclusion. The final rank will be calculated only after considering all the eligible entries. The verification of the submitted information will be carried out by the concerned examination board. Only after this verification process is completed, the spot rank will be announced on May 29, 2025 for such candidates.

KEA has urged all affected candidates to make use of this opportunity and ensure that their data is accurate and complete. Failure to submit the correct registration number and marks card within the given timeline may result in ineligibility for further counselling and seat allotment. Later, the announcement regarding the counselling will be notified on the website.
