MET 2026 admit card for Phase 1 exam will be released on April 10. Official MET 2026 hall ticket download link will be available online at manipal.edu. To login and download admit card, candidates will have to use their MAHE application number and MET OTBS password. Details about allotted MET 2026 exam slots, centre and more can be checked through hall ticket. MAHE has announced the MET 2026 exam dates. For Phase 1, MET exam 2026 will be held on April 13 and 14, as a computer based test. 

While reporting to their allotted centre, candidates will have to bring their MET admit card along with one valid ID proof. Since MET is a competitive exam, they should be familiar with the official MET exam pattern and syllabus, so that they are prepared well. MAHE MET 2026 exam will be held in two phases. Candidates can attempt both exam phases, however, best score will be considered for admission. No other exam scores are accepted for MET admissions. What is MET?

Manipal Academy of Higher Education conducts Manipal Entrance Test (MET) to select candidates for BTech admission into participating campuses. Based on MET scores, candidates can apply for BTech courses offered by participating four campuses. MET is held as an online test at various centres, and candidates will have to attempt objective questions.

Previous Year's MET Paper Analysis

According to students who attempted previous year's MET exam, overall paper was moderately difficult. Students found Mathematics as toughest section and most questions were lengthy and from both 11th and 12th class syllabus. Physics was moderate but questions were more numerical based and from 12th class. Chemistry was easy and most questions were from Organic Chemistry. As per MET exam previous year analysis, English was easy.

Manipal MET Hall Ticket 2026

MAHE will release MET 2026 admit card for Phase 1 exam on April 10. Official MET 2026 hall ticket download link will be available at manipal.edu. To download admit card, candidates will have to log in using their application number and OTBS password. All candidates will have to complete their slot booking to download their MET admit card 2026. MAHE is also expected to send MET 2026 admit card download link to candidates through email.

Some important details that can be checked through MET admit card are allotted examination centre address, date, slot and guidelines. Candidates cannot raise requests to make changes to their allotted centres. At exam centre, they will have to bring their admit card along with one valid identity proof. If these documents are not shown at exam centre, then candidates will not be allowed to enter exam centre to attempt Manipal Entrance Test. For Phase 2 examination, candidates will be able to download their admit card on May 20, 2026.

MET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

MET eligibility criteria 2026 is released by authorities. Candidates will have to fulfil below mentioned eligibility criteria if they want to participate in MET 2026 admission process.

BTech Courses - Candidates should have qualified 10+2, A-Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional subjects with a minimum of 50 percent mark taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one optional subjects.

Lateral BTech - 3 years Diploma in Engineering granted by the Board of Technical Examination of a State Government or passed BSc Degree from a recognized University with at least 45 percent marks and passed 12th class with Mathematics as a subject.

Manipal BTech MET Mock Test 2026

MET mock test 2026 will be released online at manipal.edu. Students should practice using their MET mock test to become familiar with how exam will be held. To access mock test, candidates have to log in using required credentials. There are some differences between MET mock test and actual exam. In mock test, only 18 questions will be available within 60 minutes. Students can use mock test to know important topics, repeated questions to perform well in entrance examination.

How to Book MET 2026 Exam Slots

MET 2026 slot booking for Phase 1 exam has ended. Candidates were able to access MET slot booking facility until April 2. Registered candidates had to log in using their application number and MET OTBS password to book their preferred exam slots. The OTBS password for log in was the candidate's registered date of birth in DDMMYYYY format.

It is to be noted that MET slot booking is done on a first come first serve basis. To have higher chance of booking their preferred exam slot, candidates were advised to log in and complete the process as early as they can. The details of the booked exam slot will be released through MET 2026 hall ticket. If candidates are unable to book their exam slots before the last date, then the authorities will automatically allot it. No changes can be made to allotted MET exam slots. For Phase 2, MET slot booking 2026 will be open from May 9 to 11.

MET 2026 Result/Score Card

MAHE will release MET 2026 result at manipal.edu. To check and download their MET result 2026, candidates will have to log in at manipal.edu using their application number and OTBS password. Scores and ranks secured in the entrance examination will be available through the MET result. MET Counselling Process 2026

MET 2026 counselling process will be held online. Qualified candidates will have to log in using their application number and password to pay the MET 2026 counselling fee of INR 10,000 online, i.e.,  through net banking/credit card/debit card (adjustable with the tuition fee). The last date to fill choices and register will be announced soon. The MET 2026 seat allotment will be released separately for different rounds of counselling.
