KMAT 2026 exam is scheduled to be conducted on September 20, 2026, in online mode. The KMAT exam will be conducted by the Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA), offering admissions into MBA, MCA, and PGDM courses for colleges in Karnataka. The timings for the MCA exam are from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and for the MBA exam, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The KMAT registration process ended on September 6, 2026. What is KMAT Karnataka exam?
Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) is conducted by the Karnataka Post Graduate Private Colleges' Association (KPPGCA) for admissions to Master of Business Administration (MBA), Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) , and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) courses. By the scorecard of the KMAT exam, students can take admission into 170 AICTE approved MBA colleges and 55 MCA colleges. Hence, many students give this exam and score really well in it.

- Students should have a minimum of 50% marks in their graduation and should have graduated from a recognised univeristy/college.
- For students from reserved categories, the minimum percentage of marks required is 45%.

KMAT 2026 registration process is over. The KMAT application form was available on the KMAT India website. The registration process was as follows;
- Open the official KMAT India website
- Click KMAT 2026 application
- Fill in personal details such as name, date of birth, email, phone number, country, etc.
- Students will get an application number and a password on the registered numbers and email IDs
- Upload documents and make the fee payment online

KMAT is an important MBA entrance exam. The first tip to ace the KMAT exam is to stay calm. Here are a few last minute preparation tips for KMAT exam:
- Use the restroom before to the start of the test. Because students will not have time and may not be able to get a break during the exam
- Check all system requirements before starting the exam, mic, camera, etc.
- Do not keep cell phones or other electronic devices, such as calculators, smartwatches, during the exam.
- Stay calm and have a healthy breakfast in the morning before the exam.

KMAT Karnakaka scores are accepted for admission to the MBA programme at colleges in Karnataka. But some colleges outside Karnataka also accept the KMAT scores for admission to the MBA or PGDM programmes.
However, candidates should know that the colleges which accept KMAT exam scores outside Karnataka, do not gaurantee admission. Some colleges may have their own entrance exams or may prioritise other national-level entrance exams, such as CAT, MAT, or CMAT, for admission.
KMAT mock tests are available on website of KMAT India. This mock test is mandatory to take to appear for exam. Students can use their application number and DOB to login into KMAT mock test window.

As per the information on the web, the closing rank for GM category in 2025 was 11442 in round 3. So, yes candidate can pursue MCA from NIE Mysore. The chances may be low, because the priority is given to candidate with higher ranks.

Kerala KMAT I a medium difficulty level exam. The test is designed in such a way that candidates are tested on the English, Reasoning, Quantitative and GK knowledge. 3-4 months of preparation is enough to crack this exam.
