OJEE 2020 counselling registration window has opened. Read the article below to know more.

OJEE 2020 counselling schedule has been announced on the official website. The registration window and the choice filling option window will open today, i.e. October 12, 2020. The last date to register for OJEE 2020 counselling is October 26, 2020. Candidates can choose their preferred institute and apply for OJEE 2020 counselling along with fee during this period. OJEE conducts a centralised counselling process based on the marks obtained in OJEE 2020 exam. Candidates must note that preference will be given to candidates with JEE Main rank. OJEE Counselling Process 2020: How to Apply

To know to how to participate in the OJEE web counselling, follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Registration: 

  • Visit the official website and click on 'New Registration'
  • Register by choosing the course and application number, date of birth, gender, name of the applicant, category, marks obtained, contact information, etc.
  • Click 'Submit' button and choose a password which can be used for future logins

Step 2: Fee Payment:

Candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs 450 using credit card, debit card, UPI or other bank wallets

Step 3: Choice Filling and Locking 

  • After successfully registering for the counselling process and paying the application fee, candidates need to fill their choices from the list of participating colleges for their selected courses and specialisation. Candidates must arrange their choice of participating colleges according to their preferences.
  • Applicants can add, edit, delete and change the order of preference from the list of colleges
  • OJEE Cell will be releasing mock seat allotment lists. Candidates can check the status and modify according to their choice and preference. Then the choice locking facility will be activated. Once the locking facility is activated, candidates must re-check their choices and if satisfied they can lock their choice by clicking on 'Lock' button and entering password.

Note: Once the choice has been locked, it cannot be unlocked again as it is one-time facility. Hence, candidates must carefully choose their options. 

  • Candidates must lock their choices in time. If they are unable to do so then the choices selected will be automatically locked when the time expires.
  • Finally, take a print out of the Filled Choice Slip

Step 4: Announcement of Seat Allotment List

The seat allotment will be based on the scores obtained in OJEE exam. Preference will be given to candidates with JEE Main scores. OJEE Cell will release mock seat allotment lists according to the choices filled by the candidates. Candidates can see their temporary seat allotment at this stage. 

Step 5: Document Verification

For confirming their seat at the allotted college/s, candidates should upload documents of eligibility required for the course and submit the copies. They also need to make part admission fee payment online which is Rs. 10,000/- for General category and Rs. 5,000/- for SC/ST/PC categories. After this, candidates will be issued final seat allotment letter with college name, course and other relevant information.

Step 5: Admission Confirmation

  • Once the documents have been upload, the nodal officers will verify the documents. Candidates do not need to visit the OJEE office. During verification of documents, the Officer may raise querries to resolve issues if any. Candidates will receive a message or email regarding the same. 
  • In case, candidates do not report the allotted colleges within the specified time, then their admission is cancelled and their seat is offered to other candidates in next round
  • Also, applicants have a choice to withdraw from admission, in such cases, their admission status will be 'In process' and the part-admission fees paid by them is refunded 
  • If the applicants withdraw from allotted seats, they will be eligible to participate in the next round of seat allotment and they have to exercise the choice locking and document verification process again
