OJEE Counselling Process 2020: How to Apply?

Follow the steps mentioned below to know how to participate in the OJEE 2020 counselling.

  • Registration: Candidates need to register using the application number and other details and create a user name and password
  • Fee Payment: They need to pay an application fee of Rs 450 using credit card, debit card, UPI or other bank wallets to complete the registration process
  • Choice Filling and Locking: After successfully registering for the OJEE counselling process and paying the application fee, applicants need to fill their choices from the list of participating colleges for their selected courses and specialisation. Candidates can add, edit, delete and change the order of preference from the list of colleges. OJEE Cell, the exam conducting authority, will be releasing three seat allotment lists. Applicants can check the status and modify their choices according to their preference. Once the locking facility is activated, they must review their choices and if satisfied they can lock their choice by clicking on the 'Lock' button and entering a password.

Note: Once the choice has been locked, it cannot be unlocked again as it is one-time facility. Hence, candidates must carefully choose their options.

  • Announcement of Seat Allotment List: The seat allotment will be based on the scores obtained in OJEE 2020 exam. Preference will be given to applicants with JEE Main scores.
  • Document Verification: For confirming their seat at the allotted institute/s, students should upload documents of eligibility required for the course and submit the copies. They also have to make part admission fee payment online which is Rs. 10,000/- for General category and Rs. 5,000/- for SC/ST/PC categories. After this, the applicant will be issued a final seat allotment letter with college name, course and other relevant and required information.
  • Admission Confirmation: Once the documents have been upload, the nodal officers will verify the documents. In case, students do not report the allotted colleges within the specified time, then their admission is cancelled and their seat will be offered to other candidates in the next round. Also, applicants have a choice to withdraw from admission, in such cases, their admission status will be marked under 'In process' and the part-admission fees paid by them will be refunded.
