Eligibility Criteria to Fill MHT CET 2026 Form
Before filling the MHT CET application form, candidates were advised to check the eligibility criteria. Only eligible students were allowed to register for the exam. If any student is found ineligible at the time of admission, their candidature will be cancelled, irrespective of their performance in the exam. The basic MHT CET eligibility criteria is given below:
- Candidates must be Indian citizen.
- Must have passed or be appearing in class 12 with Physics and Mathematics along with Biology/Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/IT/Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/Technical Vocational subject or passed a Diploma in Engineering and Technology.
- Candidate must have secured at least 45% marks in class 12 (40% for the reserved category).

No. The MHT CET 2026 application form has to be filled in online mode only. There is no provision to fill the MHT CET application form in offline mode.

How to Apply for MHT CET 2026?
The MHT CET registration process has now concluded. To apply for MHT CET 2026, candidates had to:
- First register at the CET portal
- Link DigiLocker having APAAR ID and Aadhaar Card
- Log in and fill the MHT CET application form 2026
- Select exam centre, CET and pay the application fee

Stage 1 - Register at CET Cell Portal
- Visit the official website of MHT CET 2026: cetcell.mahacet.org.
- Click on link for CET portal for year 2026-27.
- Click on register link under “New User” section.
- Enter details asked like your name, email ID, mobile number and date of birth.
- Create a password.
- Click on ‘Register’ button. After submitting above details, a verification link is sent to the email IDs of candidates. Candidates have to visit the mailbox and verify the email ID.
- Next, candidates have to then click on "Proceed to Digilocker" to authenticate themselves with Adhaar and APAAR ID for MHT CET registration process.
Stage 2 - Login and Fill MHT CET Application Form 2026
After verification, candidates can then login on CET portal using the registered email id and password they have created in the registration process.
Under the MHT CET 2026 login, candidates have to complete the MHT CET 2026 application form fill up. Some details in form will be prefilled from data fetched from registration stage.
Candidates will have to fill following details in the MHT CET form 2026:

- On the dashboard, candidates have to select “registration” and a window will open with a list of all the CETs active for 2026.
- Here, select the MHT CET exam.
- Now fill the preferred exam city, qualification and category details.
- Then candidates have to pay the applicable application fee.
- After the application fee is paid, candidates have to take a printout of the filled and submitted form. Keep this document safe for all future reference.
Note: After completion of the MHT CET registration 2026, an application number will be generated. Also, the CET you have applied for will display “enrolled” in green.
