Top 5 engineering entrance exams apart from JEE Main - Engineering is one of the most sought-after career options in India. Approximately 10 lakh candidates appear every year for JEE Main exam which is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) and millions on the other side apply for various engineering entrance exams (National and state level).

JEE Main
JEE Mains is a national-level competitive exam with more than 10 lakh students appearing for it every year. JEE Main 2025 exam will be conducted in two sessions in January and April. The first session exam will be held on January 22, 23, 24, 28, 29 and 30 while the second will be held from April 1 to 8, 2025.

MHTCET
MHT CET is a state level examination conducted once a year. Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) is conducted by the DTE (Directorate of Technical Education), Maharashtra every year for admissions to first-year Engineering and Technology programmes (BE/BTech) and Pharmacy programmes (BPharma/PharmaD) in the state.
