MAT Paper Based Test (PBT) and Computer Based Test (CBT) are conducted at various exam centres with COVID-19 protocols defined by the Government of India. AIMA has been conducting MAT exams in PBT and CBT modes all the safety measures since 2020 due to coronavirus pandemic. Even though the cases are minimal now, the COVID-19 safety guidelines issued by the Government of India still being followed at public gatherings including the MAT exam centres. The procedure for MAT February 2023 PBT/CBT will also be along standard lines.

Those found not cooperating with the test centre staff or showing disregard to the guidelines may be disqualified. MAT Exam Day Instructions & COVID-19 Safety Guidelines for CBT/PBT 2023
- To ensure physical distancing at the MAT test centre entrance, different reporting times will be given to batches of candidates.
- Candidates have to fill the self-declaration form confirming that they do not have COVID-like symptoms and have not come in contact with anybody who tested positive.
- Candidates will have to present the self-declaration form attached with the MAT admit card at the main entry. They will be allowed to enter only after they submit the same.
- Body temperature of each candidate will be checked using thermo gun, and they will not be allowed inside the MAT test centre if their body temperature is higher than normal.
- Candidates must not come to MAT test centre in case they are sick or even having any symptoms of sickness such as fever, cough, cold, headache, etc.
- MAT CBT and PBT are conducted from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Candidates must reach the test centre latest by 8:30 AM before the entry gate is closed.
Documents Required at the MAT Exam Centre
- COVID-19 Self-declaration in the format made available to candidates along with MAT 2023 admit card.
- Two printouts of the MAT admit card 2023
- Any valid original Photo ID proof such as:
- Voter ID Card
- PAN Card
- Driving License
- Aadhaar Card
- Passport
- Photo ID card issued by the government
- Photo ID card issued by any recognized educational institution, etc.
- Copy of disability certificate issued by a competent authority (For PWD candidates)
Personal Items to Carry at MAT Exam Centre
- Suitable/standard mask that covers nose and mouth properly
- Hand sanitizer in a transparent bottle
- Ball-point pen (black/blue)
- Adequate quantity of drinking water in transparent bottle only
Precautions to take at MAT Exam Centre
- Wear a suitable/standard mask covering nose and mouth properly before entering the test centre and keep it on until you exit after the test.
- Sanitize hands with sanitizer just before entering the MAT test centre gates and also periodically during the test as necessary.
- Follow physical distancing guideline and keep safe distance from other candidates as well as the test centre staff.
- The MAT test centre staff are allowed to do only contactless frisking only. Hence, do not allow frisking by physical touch.

MAT exam 2023 will be conducted in multiple sessions in four phases - February, May, September and December. The registration process for MAT CBT and IBT is underway. Candidates can apply for MAT in the mode of their choice. The fee for all exam modes is same i.e. INR 1900.
